Really really cool place in south FW, super sexy. Make sure you look up the definition of a ?speak easy? before going so you... know what you are visiting. LOVE this place. So relaxing, you can actually have a conversation with others and hear each other. Super cool vibe. And the bartenders are the BEST out there!! There are so many craft drinks on the menu and yet they make themso quick and they are strong and delicious!! I love the Amber Room! Fairly new spot. Nice cozy, laid back/chill speakeasy. Even offer bar ish type food. Cocktail are about 12-20 fairly priced.... More mature environment then college area downtown. Great for dates and mini group hang out spot. The door doesn't require apass code or password to enter like the others. Its super walk in friendly. Read more
This is one of the best bars I have visited in DFW. The drinks are original, taste unique, and the atmosphere is a... calming-vintage. Derek the bartender (hopefully correctly spelled) is very personable and made the experience that muchbetter. It's not a rowdy bar. It's one where you want to take a date or discuss something beyond sports. I purposely left outhow to find the door so you can explore for yourself. You'll know when you find it. Read more
Nice little hole in the wall but my rating is based solely on the lamb shank. Cooked perfectly but Massively over seasoned to... the point it was inedible. Next time try lemon or orange zest, salt and pepper, and let the lamb do the heavy lifting. Thecease salad was a nice twist on a classic. Read more
