This is a review of the quality of several menu items at two Fort Wort TX fast food chains near me, Taco Bell and Taco Bueno. I... was not paid to do this, I wanted to see if the same thing has happened to the quality and quantity of these twochain restaurants are similar to what I found when I did the same thing 10 years ago to the same area Arby's near my home. WhatI did was order 3 tacos and 2 beef and bean burritos from each store and both times I ordered was early before lunch and justbefore the evening rush hour around 4:30 pm. I have to keep this short as I think there will be a limit of characters for anycomments from each chain so I will be brief and to the point. TACOS: I started with Taco Bueno as I had visited this store forthe last time around 2015 due to bad response from management about my complaints of cold food and lack of beef in my tacos. Thetacos this time had beef and it seemed to be okay with the amount, lots of lettuce, some cheese and a topping of tomato. Thecrispy tacos stood up to the ingredients and the beef was not salty and seemed to have good texture, not watery. Taco Bell hada similar amount of beef, less lettuce and a very small scattering of cheese. The shells got wet from the texture as the beefwas more watery and very salty. Little lettuce and cheese and no tomato. The last taco I ate was so wet, it had stuck thetortilla to the paper wrapper and broke apart when I picked it up. Taco Bueno took the prize for best tacos between the two,however for the price I won't be going back again, like last time as the next review on the burritos has Taco Bueno last andsorry in quantity and quality. BURRITOS: Taco Bueno has almost no beef and more beans in it's Super Burrito. There was nocheese to detect as I opened the second one to inspect, not one piece of cheese could be found. They are fast but the food doesn't have much taste. I got brisket quesadillas and there was only a very think amount on about... 2/3 of the tortillas. It just isn't worth it unless you just really need food and don't have other options. The employees arefast and friendly though! Read more
Went through the drive through at this particular establishment in may of 2019 at about 1030 pm.The first bite into my taco... rendered a rock that i can only assume was from the parking lot . Almost even looked like it may have been in a tumbler at somepoint. I had every tooth i was born with until this night . The rock broke 2 molars. Surprisingly enough i was not in anypain but has changed my situation. I contacted headquarters to no avail . I was only seeking my teeth repaired. I ordered 2 of the combo quesadilla burgers and an order of nachos, when I showed up they claimed to only have an order for the... nachos. After showing them the receipt they tried to charge me again. When I got home they didn't give me the nachos that camewith the combo. Food was good though. Read more
I just had a good experience here. I was in a hurry and they were super fast. Jasmine was very helpful and polite. I honestly... thought she was a manager. I work at a restaurant and wish we had employees like her. Thanks again ???? Read more
This specific location is slow. SLOW. We come by two times per year and they are always slow. We paid a lot for "fast food" only... to have them make us wait over 30 minutes. We were the only customer. Had to go in to get the food, no salsa, no forks. Bothwere requested. Taco Bueno is a lovely restaurant. This location is never good. Read more
I ordered a dozen tamales. They came in sealed plastic bags and were filled with liquid. The tamales were liquid mush and not... edible at all. I have always loved their tamales so I am very disappointed. The guy at the window also gave me the incorrectdrink after I corrected him twice when I ordered. Maybe if he wasn?t on his phone then the service and food would have beenbetter. Read more
I don't know what is so hard about getting an order right. We come here all the time, and every single time the order is wrong.... I'm literally sitting in the parking lot typing this while my girlfriend is inside getting the tostada they forgot! Luckily,Taco Casa is around the corner. They never screw an order up.
