The appetizers were really good. The main course was a little disappointing. I did request the food to be hot spicy, but... unfortunately the flavor of the seafood tom yum and pad woon sen were masked by the heat. Was a good level of spicy, just not agood balance of flavor and heat. Maybe go for medium if you wish for a happy balance Read more

In DFW for the week for work. After a week of tacos and Texas BBQ my stomach was begging for something fresh. I had no idea what... this place was when I pulled in but the name ?Scratch Kitchen? screamed fresh and I was not mistaken. I had no clue this was aThai spot which is amazing since it?s one of my favorite ethnic foods. I ordered the edamame for an appetizer and first thing inoticed were the perfectly salted peas. They did not disappoint. The Pad See Ew was some of the best I?ve ever had. The noodleswere made in house; the veggies were crisp and not over cooked as per usual in many Thai spots; the sauce was perfectly cookedit. For a noodle dish to resemble authentic Thai it needs to be cooked just right in the wok and these guys nailed it. My onlycritique would be to have a little spicier but even that is a small criticism. They surprised me with a complimentary desert offried bananas that was out of this world, in addition to the tapioca that I ordered. I?ve never been here before but I willcertainly be back! Amazing and delicious. The quality here is top notch, and everything is fresh. They get their ingredients from Thailand for... genuine dishes. Everything is made to order, and some items take a bit longer to make because of this. The owner will tell youthis as well to set expectations. Come in, order on the kiosk to pay with card,(approach counter to pay with cash) and enjoyyour time. They have sapporo and Asahi on tap! The Khao Soi noodles and green curry are my favorite so far. Deserts are perfectafter eating a spicy dish. Trying to taste all they have and nothing has been bad. Read more

Delicious and authentic Thai cuisine! I had the spicy dumplings and Thai Boy Rice Bowl with ground chicken. Owner was very... nice and seated me quickly. He asked me how hot I wanted the Thai Boy rice bowl. Knowing how hot Thai food can be I orderedmedium spicy. After he brought my food out he asked me if it was spicy enough and if it wasn?t offered to take it back in thekitchen and make it spicier for me. It was just right but what a nice touch on his part to make sure I was satisfied. Pricesare very reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem! Read more
