We went to this location in Forest Hill as we noticed hardly anyone was there. As soon as we walked in I noticed 2 couples... eating but all the tables were dirty. They had a problem taking the order as the girl couldn't figure out what was wrong withthe machine. Others came to help her and finally rung us up. I had to clean a table for my girlfriend and I to sit. There washardly anyone coming in and yet the tables were never cleaned, one of the tables actually had left over plates with food onthem. When we were done and I went to throw my trash away someone had taken the trash can out of the storage it's in and left itout with no trash bag in it. The girls that were behind the register were actually sitting at a table next to the trash can butwere on their phones instead of cleaning the dining area and perhaps putting a bag in the trash can. I had to leave my trash ona table piled up neatly so maybe they can throw it away later. The food was excellent and the only person doing his job andsuper polite was a younger guy actually fixing the food. If it wasn't for him then this place would never be on my list of whereto stop and eat. Management really needs to look into this as it might be shut down for good next time.......I remember itclosed for a while and came back as an Austin Eatery location. I have been a fan of Schlotzsky's for years and this location does not disappoint me. They have come a long way from their... original sandwich, but that is still my favorite. And you can " have it your way" on all of their menu options. Fast andfriendly service and a nice dining atmosphere. Read more
Our sandwiches didn't have the bacon like we asked on them, but I noticed we weren't charged for it. The veggie Supreme wasn't... cooked all the way through. I'm guessing bc of the amount of toppings in it, it needed to be pushed back a little more to come alittle longer. The bacon on my turkey bacon club was not crispy like I asked. Are you wondering why I gave them 5 stars? It wasa lot of young people working. They got twisted up in orders at one point, and almost missed a guy by giving him the wrong food.The pizzas I originally wanted, was the Supreme and the meat lovers but they didn't have the toppings for that. So I went withwhat they did have. Never once did any of these young people have attitudes. They tried really hard to accommodate me bc bothpizzas I ordered were not available. They were very nice, calm, and they worked together. At least that's what you seen from myside of the counter. The store was clean. Which is also a big deal to me. So I feel like things happen, and sometimes it's outof our control. We are human, and we will make mistakes. With all of that being said, this location still deserved a 5 star inmy opinion. This is the greatest Schlotzsky's ever. It actually has real paper towels on the tables. It has a relish bar with pickles,... jalapenos and other condiments. Real salt and pepper shakers. They are drink situation is very good. They have one of thosemulti machines that are nice but causes a backup because some people don't know how to work it and other people's try to sit andfill up their drink to the very edge. I usually drink tea so they have a separate ice machine and separate area for tea and evensome fruity drinks. I eat at Schlotzsky's quite often. This one seems to be the nicest and best setup that I've ever been to. Read more
Went through the drive-thru, and they were out of a few things, including all their soups (no soup availableat all). When I... pulled up to the window, only 1 person was making food, while other workers wandered around in the kitchen area. It was as if Iwas an inconvenience to all but the one person who was actually working. The food took longer to get than usual, but was averageSchlotzsky's quality. It seems too expensive for the lack of service and selection I was given. I probably won't be back to thislocation for a while. Read more
