If I could put a multiplier on this rating, I would certainly double down. I have traveled through most of the 50 States... (including Hawaii) sampling BBQ every chance I get, and this place is THE TOP winner. The Brisket, Turkey, Creamed Corn, andCobbler were prepared to perfection - I have no reason to believe the other offerings are any different. The drink options areoutstanding for non-drinkers and drinkers alike. The folks taking/filling the orders and those prepping the food are friendlyand efficient. The only problem is we had to fly to Texas to partake ... but the trip was worth the reward! This is a must stopfor us. Read more

I am not from Texas, so I had no idea what to expect. I was honestly a little disappointed when I was told we were going to get... bbq at a gas station. But I was blown away and I really wish we had a Rudy's in Missouri. The prime rib is incredible. All thefood is so good. Staff is very friendly. If you are visiting from out of town, I highly reccomend you try it. Rudy's is anexperience to say the least. Read more

It was good for a fast casual BBQ place, the country store side of things was slightly confusing as we expected a retail style... area. When walking in the door, if you have never been in, it is confusing to know if you proceed forward or if you are supposedto wait near the entrance for seating. Cold sides are kept in coolers in the line, and everything was tidy and organized.Samples of the meats are free, but even after choosing the best of the taste tests, the half chicken, turkey, moist turkey andsausage, it was mildly disappointing to eat. The beans were tasty, and the cream corn was definitely creamy. They were brewingfresh tea and checking bathrooms frequently, managers were active in service, overall a decent lunch stop. Read more

Food is was good but what we paid for vs what we got was not. We got 2 bakers 1 meat AND half pound of brisket. Price we paid... did not reflect what the menu price was.. most if the meat we received was pure fat. Read more

I love all the food here! By far the best brisket I have ever tried!! My favorites are the lean and moist brisket, the pork and... the jalapeño sausage, they are just delicious! I really love all the flavors of the meats and the sides! They have a goodselection of beers and drinks (see pictures). The place has a great environment and there are different nice and spaciousdinning areas including a little bar area as well! Staff is very friendly and the prices are very fair! The only downside isthat you can?t buy extra bread of the bread they use for the sandwiches, I have asked twice for it and they can only give youpieces of the traditional loaf white bread but it?s not the same!
