A beautiful location and high end looking interior. Provender Hall boasts a world-class dining experience. What we received was... slightly sub-par service, and food that didn't live up to it's description as a luscious take on American comfort food. Iordered the crispy red fish, which had a nice coconut type flavor in the breading, served over sweet potatoes and braisedgreens. The fish ended up very dry inside the breading, and was very much like over cooked fish sticks. The sweet potato underit was under cooked and the braised greens seemed slimy and kind of like wet mush. Read more
Great place. Good service. Parking us horrible. $15 for public parking or valet so just valet. Oysters were top notch. The fresh... grated horseradish is a nice touch. Got the burger and fries. The burger needed salt but fries are next level. Read more
Everything was great but service was exceptional the Bartenders Kyle, Tyler and another gentleman who's name I didn't catch.... Drinks were amazing, professionalism and presentation were superb. Enjoyed it enough we visited both nights we were in town! Read more
Visited the Stockyards on a Saturday just in time for EVERYDAY HAPPY HOUR: 2-6pm + OYSTER & AVIATION GIN HAPPY HOUR: Friday &... Saturday 2-6pm. They have a ton of options for food and cocktails. 1/2 DOZEN OYSTERS $12 (normally $19) 3 different varietiesarrived with house cocktail sauce, fresh horseradish, mignonette and lemon slices *These were super fresh and delicious, woulddefinitely get again AVIATION GIN FRENCH 75 $12 (normally $14) *first time trying Aviation Gin, it was well balanced with freshlemon juice MARGARITA $9 (normally $11) *it seemed a tad small but still tasty FROZEN DRINKS: 1. PALOMA: Olmeca Altos BlancoTequila, Grapefruit Juice, Lime Juice, Agave 2. I?ve visited Provender Hall numerous times since it?s been open and each time has been great. My go to appetizer is without a... doubt the pimento cheese, the kick of jalapeño just makes it a great option. I?ve enjoyed the steak frites, chicken fried steakand the burger. The fries are always cooked just right, light, fluffy and crisp as is the fried okra. The drinks are made greatas well. One drink changes on the menu as the bartenders have a competition and the winner gets their drink listed on the menu,so that?s always a good option to try out. Service has always been great once you get seated. The hostesses always seem a littleuninterested and unwelcoming upon arrival but just hang in there. If Charles from Lake Charles is working request him as yourwaiter, he?s great and will give you a very enjoyable meal, is very attentive and very appreciative. Read more
Fantastic pork rinds. The food isn't "traditional" i/e the Chicken fried steak isn't what you would get at all of the... surrounding restaurants in the stock yards but being unique isn't a bad thing by any means. Read more
Stopped by this restaurant/bar on a recommendation and found it to be a 5 star experience. I ordered an old fashioned and the... chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and greens. The bartender (Tyler)was fun, personable, and made an absolutely masterfulold fashioned (with an excellent collection of whiskeys to choose from). The chicken fried steak was crispy, flavorful, andperfectly cooked. The sides complimented the chicken fried steak very well. If I'm ever in Fort Worth again I'll be coming backhere for dinner and a drink. Read more
