Oh my goodness. This plant based pizza place is the absolute best pizza I?ve had. The menu is creative and it?s so hard to... choose between all the options. The bruschetta was amazing as well as both pizzas we had. Read more

Honestly I didn?t think I would take more than a few bites of my pizza because I figured it would be just like all the other... pizza joints around. NOOOOOOO! I was definitely wrong about that. For one, it?s vegan so no worrying about having a yucky/upsetstomach afterwards. Two, the sauce has a special flavor. And three, the crust has that fire-baked crispiness to it that ties upthe whole bite in a bow! When you first walk into Pizza Verde, you are greeted with the aroma of a fire burning stove. That?sunique, for me anyway, to be able to actually watch the pizza bake in front of you IN THE FIRE and not just an electric oven.Very cool! Also, I love how the heat from the fire keeps the restaurant warmer so it kind of creates a greenhouse effect forthose beautiful plants by the entrance. I thought that was a creative use of space to add natural greenery (I love plants!). Mymargherita pizza smelled incredible and tasted BOMB! Also, the employees were all so kind and I could tell they love what theydo. I read the plaque hanging on their wall which gave more information into why they came up with a vegan pizza joint. This place is awesome all around! Best vegan food I have had at a restaurant! Friendly staff that made us feel very welcomed and... the food was absolutely delicious! Like I can't stop thinking about this pizza y'all! If I lived closer I would for sure be inthere ALL the time! My husband and I had the new jalapeno popper pizza, which was awesome as I said.
