I had high hopes for this place. As you can see from the picture, the portion size is very large. The food is flavorless though.... Absolute bland Mac salad, seasonless steamed veggies and rice. Dry pork. The chicken was meh. In all best way to describe themeal is flat. No salt, no seasoning. The sauce that came with it was conjilled goop. Really just inedible. The staff isfriendly. The kitchen is a bit slow for fast casual. It took about 15 minutes but at least it was hot food. Great staff at thecounter, but I won't be back. This food tastes just like my memories of Maui! Sometimes, I just need some LocoMoco to warm my innards! My wife says the poke... bowls are the best in North Texas. I sometimes eat them because they are good for me. Good fish. Great veggies. Perfect stickyrice. I cannot over recommend this place. But don't go for the "atmosphere." It's clean, but plain. This is one of my go to spots for poke and I?m a poke enthusiast. Once you arrive at the store, they have a poke list where you... choose what options you?d like on your poke. Once you turn in your list, they make it fairly quickly and you have the option ofleaving a tip once it?s time to pay. The serving size is fairly large. The presentation is colorful and looks stunning. Theingredients are fresh; out of all the times I?ve been here, I have never seen any old looking ingredients in my bowl. You createyour own bowl, they don?t have preset bowls that you order from. There is a large variety of toppings and sides to choose fromand your choice is unlimited. We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed it each time. This last visit we decided to order the family combo to share... with some friends. We decided on Kahlua pork and two orders of short ribs. We were very satisfied with the servings of rice, Macsalad and khalua pork. However, the Short ribs left a lot to be desired and were not up to par for the price. There were twocontainers of ribs and one container had ribs with a good amount of meat on them and the second container, (the one pictured)contained only 2 quality ribs and the rest were very bad and had little to no actual meat on them. They charge you extra forthe short ribs and for them to supply ribs that looked like this AND have a up charge for them is very disappointing. Hopefullythey don?t give these out every time and was just a fluke. **Edit** Update as of 1-5-22 We ended up speaking with the managerwho responded to our original review. She was very friendly and we were able to come to a consensus to correct the errors. Whenwe arrived back at the store she took Full responsibility for the mess up and stated it would not happen again.
