Wanting to try something different we found Newk's. We like the menu selection. Nice place. We shared a "Q" with a bowl of gumbo... and a Mediterranean pizza. The sandwich was great. Taste the difference in their bread ????????. The soup was busy (as gumbosusually are), but tasty. The pizza was relatively dry, but the center dough was soggy, like undercooked. Overall, the pizza wasa very, very salty mess. If we ever go again it won't be for the pizza, or the overpriced soft drinks. Read more
Very fresh and tasty food! Staff was very kind and welcoming. Atmosphere felt relaxing; ambient lighting, seating was spaced out... well for enjoying table talk with the family while not disturbing neighboring guests. Menu has a really good variety to satisfyyour palate! I tried the Ultimate Chicken Salad but opt for ranch instead of honey mustard. Not only was it a gratifyingportion, I can?t comment enough on how fresh all the ingredients were! This place definitely deserves the recognition. Whilewaiting our food to come out, I was curious enough to order the Newk?s Q sub after seeing the advertisement, with the purpose ofsampling it and saving the rest for dinner?Again, no disappointment there! Great proportional flavors and quality ingredientsthat came together perfectly with a little kick, all on a freshly warm bun. Lastly I tried a little bit of the strawberry cakeslice. Huge fan! Wonderfully moist and not too incredibly sweet. Would have gone fantastically with some hot tea. My daughterhad the Marghertia pizza and obviously not surprised that it too was, perfection. I?m a pizza lover first and foremost so I tendto be a little weary when ordering a pizza from a new place but they did a great job at putting together fresh delicious flavorsand making it visually appeasing as well. Stopped in on this place after reading the reviews. Great Great food is all I can say fresh, quick, great atmosphere with... friendly service. Turkey avocado News club so good,, had lemon cake to top it off.. a tad on the high end for prices butDefinitely recommend ???? Read more
First time visiting this restaurant. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I had the Italian sandwich and it was very tasty.... My wife had a salad and enjoyed that as well. The kids menu is not really a kids menu, it is more for toddlers. The grilledcheese sandwich is very small and disappeared within a few bites. Other that that It was a good visit. I was driving down the road on the way to pick up my roommate from work and saw a Newk's and I was told about this place so I... decided to stop in and see what they had to offer. Sara greeted me at the order counter and I explained to her it was my firsttime at Newk's and she walked me through the entire menu. She really knew her stuff. Then while I was trying to decide Kim tookover and I asked her for her honest opinion on the Mac and cheese and the Cole slaw as I am really picky about both. I decidedon the cheese steak and bought my roommate the Newk's Q. The cheese steak was delish. The Newk's Q looked great. I was diggingthe Cole slaw and the Poppin pink lemonade they had as a fountain drink was sweet but not too sweet. I loved how they offeredmore than just sandwiches Loved it all. Very unassuming restaurant. Had a chicken salad sandwich (my one complaint would be to add MORE chicken salad) and it was very... good! All of our food was very good and the place was very clean - def. Have to try again as this was our first visit. Read more
