New to Monticello, My husband and I slid in on a Thursday, without a reservation, and sat at the bar to be served by the... bartender Chris. I traveled to Ft. Worth for work & I was recommending going to Michaels for lunch. I ordered a beef tenderloin & it was probably... the best I have ever tasted. I never finish the food off my plate & I left nothing on there. The music, the bread, thefireplace, the food was excellent! My husband and I finally visited Michael’s cuisine for the first time. The food was phenomenal, especially the “pecan... crusted goat cheese chicken” and the “classic baked goat cheese.” This was likely the best chicken I’ve ever enjoyed.The atmosphere is pretty casual and the service was great. I can not believe we have not visited this wonder restaurant. Nestled right in our backyard and never knew about it until... recently. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing and the food is absolutely exquisite. Highly recommend the peppered steak!Also pictured was there crusted halibut and the famous jalapeño shrimp. Liked the cozy atmosphere and friendly waitress. The turkey wrap is served cold, I would prefer it hot. The french fries were... very tasty. Tortilla soup had lots of spicy tasty chicken. The downside was my wife's casserole had chicken bones in it whichwere on a napkin. The waitress paid no attention to that, and changed the subject when my wife suggested she report it to thekitchen.
