Do not eat here. I bought chicken fries and okra. First off the prices were outrageously high. Second all three items had a... weird chemical taste. Either the grease was old, burnt or had some chemical added to it to make it last longer. Third, thechicken pieces are small. More like cornish game hen sized. I ended up throwing what I bought away. It was my first time coming to this establishment as the sign doesn't make it look to welcoming for me but I really wanted some... fried chicken and wanted to give Popeyes a break. At first glance the menu it reminded me Lisa fried chicken.. I had somequestions about the chk wings and she kept saying " what"! Aside from the grease being old my biggest concern is that whoever is supplying their thighs are actually cutting one-third of... the meat from the thigh. The thighs do not appear to be a triangle they are a rectangle, because of a portion of the dark meatbeing cut away before the chicken is sold to the restaurant. But even if the chicken was whole, the burnt grease make sure thatit has nothing of desire. Chicken gizzards or burnt to a crisp. The amount of batter on the gizzards was 4 times as much as thegizzard. The gizzard itself, small, tough, and burnt. I had wash my hands of this Lisa's location, but decided to give itanother chance 8 months ago. Everything was fine when I came back then, but I see that they reverted back to their old ways. Possibly the worst chicken I?ve ever had. I got the tenders and my boyfriend got the fish. The chicken tenders were rubbery and... had no flavor. Nothing was seasoned at all. No flavor. They didn?t even butter the corn on the cob. They charge for smallpackets of sauce and if you don?t dine in you can?t take to go cups for ketchup lol. Nothing about the plates were good. Iwouldn?t be as upset for the nasty food if I didn?t pay $25 for two plates which imo wasn?t worth the price. Also don?t go hereif you?re looking for nice customer service.
