Came here to just grab lunch. Had to pay $15 to park in the lot behind the bar. Once you come in you have to pay $3 each for an... admission fee on top of whatever you wanted to eat. Guess we should have went somewhere else...... Read more

Ordered the blackened grilled fish, green beans and baked potato. What I got was a piece of fish that was so salty it wasn't... worth eating, green beans were good and a potato that wasn't fully baked. Everything felt dirty..even though staff wipedeverything down with the same disgusting cloth. Won't ever eat here again..way too expensive for what you get. Read more

I should have read the reviews. We paid the $3 admission to enter Billy Bob's to get to the Honky Tonk Kitchen. I thought it... would be neat to eat there. They do offer free admission to military and veterans, which is nice. We went at 3pm. There wasmusic playing, and an empty dance floor. The place was dead, dead... Why one star? When we got to the counter to order, therewas a long discussion between the staff on what was available and whether they were switching to a limited menu right then. They decided they had BBQ plates available. The kids ordered burgers and we ordered a 3 meat plate w sides of Baked potatoesand beans. You won't believe this next part: A staff member delivers our food, and we asked for forks and knives. "We don'thave any forks." no explanation. My husband asked her if she was joking. She wasn't. She just reiterated that they didn'thave any and made no attempt to problem solve. There was NO way to eat chopped Beef, a bowl of beans and a Baked potato withoututensils. I got up and went to talk to the lady that took my order and the chef that had his face in the window. I said theyshould've let us know that they didn't have any (plastic)forks before I ordered my $20 plate of BBQ (that came in a DQ basketwith an over baked old potato.) She said she had gone to the back to look, but they didn't have any. Seems like a thing youwould ALWAYS have on hand? Meat, Buns, Beans, Forks...definitely should add that to the grocery list.... While in thisdiscussion I spotted a small container like you see on buffets holding a few metal forks and steak knives. They reluctantly gaveme 2 forks. The BBQ was good, beans were good standard beans. Save your money, it is overpriced and the afternoon entry fee andthe rude service people put it over the top for the worst decision we made on our trip. Read more

A friend recommended this place. We went after the watch the herd. There is no reason to pay the $3 admission in the afternoon,... nothing worth seeing. The food was mediocre at best. The meat was fatty, spices in the baked beans were overpowering. Non of ourkids like the hot dogs. The Mac and cheese and their fries were good. Save yourself the admission fee to get basic bbq foodelsewhere Read more
