This is my go-to spot for burgers! They are so good. They recently underwent a much needed remodeling. The service is decent but... there was someone soliciting at the marquee & rather than call the cops, they kept arguing with him while he disturbed eachcustomer, which was a bit unprofessional. The burger was definitely made after I ordered it which was a nice change. Ingredients were fresh. French fries were a little... soggy so I could tell they weren't as fresh. Overall for the price it was a place I'd visit again. Very very clean on theinside too, even the bathroom. Read more
Do Not Order The Cheesy Chicken BLT! The picture looked so inviting Crispy Battered Chicken and Thick Cut Crunchy Bacon. NO! The... entire sandwich was soggy The chicken and very thinly sliced bacon were under cooked. I have been to Griff's several times now. I first went because I was told it was one of the best Hamburger joints in Fort Worth... by several of my coworkers. The first time I went I was a little let down I have to say. It seemed just like many other Burgerjoints. That was my fault for not ordering the correct menu Item. So I gave them another try. This time taking therecommendation of my coworker, I ordered the number 1 combo. That made all the difference. Let me tell you about the number 1combo. It is double Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles, it also comes with fries and a drink. You have theoption of mustard or mayonnaise. I got mine with Mayo and added ketchup. This made all the difference between my first andsecond time there. It was delicious. Now when I go that is my go-to order. Everytime I have ordered it since it has beenconsistently the same. I would recommend Griff's to anyone looking for good reasonably priced burger. It should also be notedthat this consistency is carried through all of the Griff's in the chain. Read more
People love to hype up places that have been around for yrs, but that doesn't mean the food & service is the same. The meals at... Griffs where prepared 100% times better back in the day. The manager and the employees were very nice but my overall meal wasdisappointing. I ordered the combo #5, asked for mayo, mustard, and extra onions. I saw no sign of extra onions or mayo. Thecombo #5 comes with a hamburger with 2 meat patties, lg fries & drink. The meat patties were thinner than I remember. I haven'tbeen to Whataburger in yrs but I felt like the meat was similar. The onion rings were good and came out hot. I asked for no icewith my soda and guess what they gave me ICE. The strawberry shake and fries were decent. I wouldn't order the apple pie, itwasn't good. I heard 2 people complain to the manager that their fries were cold. My fries were a little warm but not hot likeother fast-food burger joints. I overheard people mention that their orders were wrong, but I didn't say anything. However, Istill can't believe they got my order wrong the cashier repeated my order back to me several times smh. So would I go hereagain? No, there are too many burger places that are better. The establishment looks really nice after the remodel. But, Ireally can't deal with the thin meat patties and employees not getting orders correct. Hopefully they make changes after myreview, but I doubt it because people continue to hype the place up regardless of many mistakes being made. Read more
Griff's has been a favorite of mine since I first moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in 1992. The Lancaster location just... completed a remodel that took the building down to the studs...and closed for several month. They have finally reopened and ofcourse the food is still great. I have to admit also that their soft drinks are comparable to Sonic as far as taste. The DoubleGiant Combo (pictured) is my favorite. Enjoy! Read more
So I haven't been to this place in about 5 years because I no longer live on this side of town. However I was very amazed that... everything to order was GIANT! Once I got the burger it was amazing!! I must admit crinkle fries It would be an awesome choicewith the burger, those shoestring fries just didn't do it for me and you dont't get very many for a GIANT FRY, And I am a frenchfry head soooo yea. But all in all I was pleased with the burger so for that you get four stars!! Read more
Been wanting Griff's for a while now, and finally decided to stop by one close to my neighborhood. LAWD IT'S AS GOOD AS I... REMEMBERED WHEN I WAS A KID! Cashier Amanda was very nice, polite, and got our order correct. Fast customer service, and theatmosphere was clean, and Staff was very friendly despite the busy line's. Read more
