The Camp Bowie strip center location doesn\'t really telegraph the experience you will have once inside. We found the interior... comfortable and understatedly elegant, the service impeccable, and the food really extraordinary. We tried the catfish andblackened redfish, the latter recommended by our waiter, Jason, who clearly knows the menu well enough to make usefulsuggestions. Service was unhurried, exactly what we were looking for while sharing dinner with close friends we hadn\'t beenable to see for several weeks. We capped the dinner with a slice (rather, slab) of hummingbird cake that we split four ways, andstill left some on the plates. Altogether a great restaurant experience that we will return to again! My husband and I ate here on our 34th anniversary 9/10/22. We got here right before the dinner crowd hit. The food is amazing!... The staff were polite, friendly and professional. We had the Hot crawfish and shrimp dip for an appetizer (and wow was thisdelicious!!) My husband had the Grilled shrimp pasta he also tried the Mac N cheese. I had the Ribeye, which was AMAZING! Andfor desert my husband had the Banana foster banana pudding. Love the atmosphere and the whole dining experience! Read more

Easily the best oysters & hush puppies we?ve ever had. Definitely order the jalapeño & cheese oysters. Mind blowing! We... celebrated our anniversary here last night and while we were blown away by our appetizers we were sadly disappointed in our maincourse. My husband ordered the Wagyu steak and I ordered the filet mignon. We both ordered them medium and they were both overcooked. Mine only slightly over but my husbands steak came sliced and only had maybe 2 or 3 slices that were actually medium. The rest of the slices were well. For a $60 steak, we expected perfection. It still had yummy flavor, but would have been moredelicious if cooked properly. We shared a side of their Mac n cheese and were blown away again by the deliciousness. They evengave us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Overall impressed by the Fitzgerald but left 4 starsbecause of the cook on our steaks. Read more

We discovered Fitzgerald at Beastro, where they were serving their crawfish roll. We were sold and visited the restaurant for... their lunch service. The service was absolutely wonderful - friendly and prompt. We ordered the hush puppies and crawfish andshrimp dip as our appetizers, and we couldn?t resist a full order of the crawfish roll and waffle fries as our entree. Despiteeating so much already, we couldn?t resist the hummingbird cake for dessert.\n\nWe?ll definitely be back soon! Read more

First off, if you reviewed this place any less than four stars you just need to not review places on google.\nWe started with... the crawfish dip. It was absolutely amazing! Full of crawfish tails, flavor, and the chips were perfect for dipping.\nI orderedthe raw 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell. They were fresh, very fresh and flavorful.\nI ordered the shrimp pasta, and let metell you, it was easily one of the best dishes I?ve ever had. Full of blistered tomatoes, mushrooms, sautéed spinach and fourhuge grilled shrimp covered in delicious seasoning. I had to get a to go box as it was to much for one sitting.\nMy wife orderedthe Redfish plate. I tried the fish and it was amazing! She loved it all.\nWe ordered a side of the cheese grits, they wereright up there with the best I?ve ever had.\nNow the service. We had Sha as our server. She is amazing!! I mean she was on topof it and unbelievably professional. She meets all expectations for a fine dinning server!\nMy wife and mom finished the mealwith an espresso Martini. Very good and a perfect way to finish the meal!\nWe already plan on being back. A reminder this isfine dinning and expect to pay the price. But in all actuality for three people, a bottle of wine, three meals, two appetizers, and desert drinks I?d say it was very reasonable. There is no way to complain coming here.\nOh and I explored around. There isan awesome lounge/bar in the back and a nice patio as well.\nI know you will enjoy. Read more

Don?t go for Lunch Service. It was such a nice dining area up front but lunch was only being served in the very back bar. Super,... super limited menu and staff. No hostess. I had to interrupt the bartender from conversing with a customer at the front bar, soI could figure out if I seat myself or wait for a hostess.\n\nThey need to change their lunch menu displayed on their websitebecause the lunch entree I originally planned to order wasn?t offered today. They had about 6 menu items available, if Iremember right. It honestly should just be Happy Hour only. I ended up getting the Gumbo. Really good flavors and full ofseafood/chicken/andouille. So I definitely expected their food to be top notch, because that?s all I?ve heard/read about TheFitz. So great job to the chef and cooks.\n\nThe last restaurant that occupied the place was Blu Crab. Really good food butreally bad/inconsistent service. I hoped The Fitz would do better. The staff was nice but I felt like I was way underdressed andnot expected. In a way, not really welcome.\n\nI think you shouldn?t even offer Lunch service if your staff is barebones, andthe menu choices are despicable. I wanted to try the Fitz at lunch because there wouldn?t be a crowd, and felt more casual, butstill get the Fitzgerald experience. Instead I got the backroom experience.\n\nI?m not sure I?ll return to try Dinner service. They should have consistent dining set up or signs that lead you back, because there is no hostess and the bartender didn?t seeme, while they were with a customer. It was about 4 minutes waiting to be seated/acknowledged, before I had to butt in. Betterluck to you. Read more

This new restaurant is a must go to. Great wine selection and cocktails. The pairing of food was fantastic. The owners will even... take the time to greet you at your table. The staff is well trained and they all work well together. Excellent at keeping yourtable cleared. Very nice touch to have a personal written note from our waiter. Read more
