First time we've ever been here. And we will be back. I had the berry blast pancakes and my wife had the veggie omelette. Both... were incredible. I also might mention but this place is owned and operated by a couple of ex-policeman, and it was a greatfeeling knowing that you're surrounded by at least half the restaurant carrying concealed firearms. No worries about a publicshooting here. We got here probably about 8:30 on a weekday so there was no parking issues at all, and we were seated rightaway. I highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
I had heard rave reviews from friends, and had to try for myself. As soon as we walked in the door, the staff was friendly and... greeted us. Service was great, and the food came out pretty fast. The portions are large enough to share, so you definitely getyour money?s worth. Everything we ordered was very good. French toast was very moist and fluffy, just the way we like it. Ok, if the boys in blue make you nervous?this may not be the place for you. ???? The walls are lined with police... paraphernalia?BUT, if you want some of the BEST food in the area with amazing customer service ?get over it and come HERE! I hadthe Omelette and a pancake the first visit and tasted my hubby?s Chicken and Waffle. When I tell you I was trying to go BACK thenext day to get my own C&W plate, but hubby wanted something different ????. What I ordered was delicious, what he ordered wasdivine?and that following Saturday, what I ordered (pictured here) was perfection ????. The chicken was seasoned and the wafflemelts in your mouth????. I took my sons with me and the staff remembered me from being there earlier in the week. They werereally friendly?now back to the food. My sons ordered the Omelette and the other ordered the Philly Steak. Since I already triedthe Omelette, I tasted the Philly with fries?and guys ???????? IT WAS SO GOOD! ???? Outstanding service, deliciously amazing food, great ambiance, plenty of parking, plenty of coffee! A true Republic of Texas... breakfast and lunch joint. I will definitely be making my rounds to this place, as often as I can. Lauren was particularlyamazing. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I had the works omelet the first time I came by and it was amazing! Update:Back again and I wish I could give it another 5 stars! Food still epic, service outstanding! Checked out this place for the first time. Food was very good and portions are fair. Place was very cute inside and the service... was friendly and attentive. Lots of selection on their menu for brunch and lunch. Coffee was good also. Only thing I would sayis that the steak on the steak and eggs meal could use more seasoning, other than that experience was good and I would return. Read more
Consistently good breakfast options. Serving size is large. Breakfast and lunch menu, not open for dinner. Coconut almond French... toast, strawberries and cream crepes, veggie omelette (comes without cheese), cinnamon swirl pancakes, and banana nut beligianwaffles are a few breakfast highlights.
