Convenient well priced for quality not a dine in kind of location . some items were a little too sweet in my personal opinion... such as potato salad and the chicken salad which they?re hailed for. The ribs were bomb and the greens had a unique smokiness Iappreciated as well. The Mac and cheese was okay but all overall ribs were the best , second sausage, brisket and smokedchicken were honorable mentions. Just tried Big Boyz BBQ ribs and brisket, and I?m gonna say this is some great BBQ! I can?t stop eating the ribs, brisket is so... tender and smoke is solid. I judge all barbecue on the smoked meat without sauce and this place does not disappoint at all. Therub is very savory and sweet with a little spice. This visit was disappointing. I think they must've had an off day. The smoked chicken salad wasnt as good as before. I had my... mom taste it just to see and she also said theres no smoked flavor. The pudding wasnt as good as before either. I didn't carefor the flavor of the sausage but there was nothing wrong with it. The chopped brisket had a lot of fatty chunks. I gave a lotto my dog. Mac n cheese still very bland!!WHATS UP WITH THAT??? Its a let down for a black owned spot. Cmon yall...yall needto do better with the mac n cheese. I added salt pepper and more cheese to eat it. So this was recommended by a work friend. It is OMG so good!! Let's start with the meat, because that is the reason you go to... BBQ. Very smoked flavor, he left the fat on incase that is your bag. The BOLO has a nice smoked flavor along with a super greatquality bologna. Next, the sauce. It was mild with smoky hints, very nicely compliment to the meat without taking away from theflavor. The beans: so dang good. A tiny bit sweet, smoke flavor still very present. The potato salad: so so good. I do not likepotato salad as a rule, but this stuff is amazing. Lastly, the chicken salad. Let me tell you, whatever you think aboutchicken salad, throw it out the window. I make a great chicken salad and I may never make it again. Second visit in as many days! I had to go back to make sure the BBQ experience was not a fluke. Went with sliced brisket (fat... end) and pork ribs. It was delicious ????!
