Great food (sandwich)with great service. Had a reuben with onion rings. Reuben was beyond delicious! Onion rings seemed like the... frozen ones, definitely not handmade or tasty. Waitress was excellent! Brought everything we needed, refilled our drinks andchecked back when needed. I would recommend this restaurant, no problem, just don't get the onion rings. Read more

EDITED TO ADD: Husband got 'food poisoning' from his meal. He got very ill, diarrhea within a hour after eating here. He was... very sick all day, and all weekend. Severely diarrhea. (Origional review)~Ate breakfast here. We would return, despite the lowrating we gave. One of us ordered a skillet meal. Ordered veggie one with cheese. The amount of onions used was overwhelming. It tasted like fried onions. Thats the only flavor it had. Very heavy on that. There was less than a drop of cheese, basicallynone. The hashbrowns were cooked in with the eggs, not a big deal in itself. But add that there were way too much onions, andbasically no cheese. And then in stead of the green peppers, they substituted spinach. But didn't saute it into the meal. Justput some leaves on top. Umm, ok. I did tell the waitress I wasn't happy, she didn't offer to have it re-made. Did discount themeal a couple of bucks, but I'd rather it was remade. Toast was burnt all around the edge,(actually black) and they put thatpiece under a piece that was toasted ok. I guess to hide it? Waitress was fast, did her job ok. Just would've rather had themeal replaced. Now I know to say lite on onions, and need to add extra cheese to just get what other restaurants would callregular amount. Read more

Typical small town diner; comfortable booths (not bolted down.) Service is generally good, friendly wait staff and food is as... expected for an established diner. Today the waffles were smothered with a gelatinous strawberry substance which made thewaffles unpleasant and the bacon was cold but instead of cooking the replacement from scratch they microwaved it and it cameback over-cooked and rubbery. Seating was not prompt even with open tables. Had quite a few staff just pass us by without even a greeting or a 'be right with... you.' Terribly disappointed in the food. Hash browns were mushy and tasteless and even the browned parts were not close tocrisp! The Eggs Benedict was a great failure. The poached egg was overdone (which the waitress said was the norm) and more likea soft boiled egg instead. I have never been served this dish where that was the norm. The Hollandaise sauce was congealed andthe Canadian bacon was greasy. It was quite a bit of money for something I couldn't eat half of because it was so unappealing. Read more
