Slim Chickens looked pretty interesting place to try out looking at their logo, menu and my love for tenders and wings. I... ordered the 3 and 3. 3 tenders and 3 wings. I had my wings in spicy BBQ. It came with fries and toast. For my dipping I pickedblue cheese and honey mustard. The wings were bit dry. Wasn't enough sauce to really get a good taste of spicy BBQ. The tenderswere on point. Juicy, warm and fresh. The Blue cheese dipping sauce was on point as well. The toast was tasty and crunchy. Frieswere seasoned and fresh but found them bit salty. Overall, the meal was satisfying and tasty. I found it a bit pricey for themeal, as I paid almost 14 bucks. But the cherry on the top was they had cherry coke as a choice... haha. Delicious! The chicken was tender, moist, and hot. The mac and cheese along with the fried pickles were also good and tasted... more restaurant quality than fast food. First let me start this review by saying this little meal with a milkshake that is about 10 ounces is 15.50$! Absolutely... outrageous! I would give this place zero stars if I could. The side orders are over 5$ each!!! Who is going to pay 5$ for somefried pickles? Lets start with the milkshake. 3.99$ for a tiny milkshake. They give you a very wide open straw which I havenever seen. I was excited because this straw is built for a milkshake. Boy was I wrong? The milkshake was so thick. It didn?tmatter what straw I had there was no way I was drinking it. Also I ordered a chocolate milkshake. They just added chocolatesyrup to a vanilla milkshake. 4$ and they can?t even give me a true chocolate shake. Moving onto the club sandwich. Keep inmind this bad boy is a little over 7$ with no fries. Insane. They put a small piece of chicken on a giant bun to make it lookbigger. Once you start eating you realize how small the chicken actually is. The only flavor on this sandwich was found in thesalty bacon which was pretty good. I had 1/3rd of the bun left over when I ran out of chicken on the sandwich. Maybe that?s a meproblem lol but none the less if I?m paying over 7$ for a chicken sandwich it better be big. This sandwich is very greasy andoily so the bread might not hold up if you live far away. Pay close attention to the shine in my photo. Finally the fries. Theywere alright but not up to 3$ standards. No flavor in them. In conclusion, 15$ for 1 fast food meal is insane. For what I gotin the picture, I would pay 8$ max. Take the milkshake off the menu. Read more
No friendly staff here. The Buffalo wings were dried out. Very disappointing, especially the price. They should offer other... options for those that cannot eat French fries. I overheard employees cussing about something near the kitchen area..loud enoughfor customers to hear. This place is a bit pricey for the amount of food that you get. Just tried this place, pretty good food! The fries were the best part, their chicken is good too! My boyfriend highly... recommended the cayenne ranch, but said the Slim sauce and honey bbq were okay. The waffle was like a classic Belgian, but stillpretty good! Definitely better than zaxbys. I don?t grieve 5-Stars lightly? but when I do they deserve it. Price Vs Quality was a great value. Had a super huge tender and... wing combo that was really a lot of food for the price that I thought I would get. And then the quality of chicken tenders andwings combined with sauce flavors were just top nice for a nice quick drive through ????
