Definitely the "fanciest" hole in the wall I've ever been to! Don't let the outside looks decieve you. Very fancy inside, and... quite the treat with gourmet tableside cooking all done by Chef David, that regails you with his stories, and some culinaryhistory, etc. Would definitely return if we were in the area again. Reservations are a MUST! Plan on staying about 3 hoursfor a 6-7 course meal. Read more

If you haven?t experienced Flambé After Dark, please grab your favorite human and make reservations. The atmosphere is a step... back into a more simple yet glamorous time, when quality and company were top priority. You leave the world outside the door.David shares his extensive art, furniture and vintage dish collection as though he?s invited you into his living room to indulgein all of his treasures. From the goblets, silverware , plates and compotes, no detail left unloved. All to lavish hisguests. The food and wine? There aren?t words in the English language to do it justice. It?s passion and divine gifts shared, plate after plate?glass after glass. Enchanting? Exquisite? Ecstatic? (Still not enough) You aren?t a number, there?s no rush. It?s an invitation to savor and value so much that seems lost these days. You leave vowing to capture more of that outside ofthe doors, to use the good dishes at home and to make all occasions special ones. We all need more of this. Kiel and Carolyn T. Read more

This is the rare type of cuisine that you bite into and it releases SO MUCH dopamine in your brain that you're left temporarily... stunned, unable to speak, unable to do anything but ruminate on what you've just been privileged enough to taste. For thisdinner, you are the 0.01% of humanity that has tasted something so exquisite, and so fairly priced! Oh, never experienced that?Well go visit David at Flambé After Dark. I'm from out of town and thinking of buying in the Ft. Walton area. Flambé AfterDark is SO GOOD that it literally resides in the "Pros" side of my Pros & Cons list regarding moving to Ft. Walton. David andhis team are very easy to connect with and talk to, and what he's doing here is special. I grew up in New York, lived in Bostonand now reside in Atlanta and nothing compares to this. David is not just a chef, he is an artist, but the food serving size isnot skimpy like many "artist" like places and it is absolutely and astonishingly amazing. Going here should be a Commandment sothat everyone has a watermark on what the best truly is. Read more

For those who don?t want to read the whole review, just read this: Flambé After Dark is the best dining experience in the... panhandle, and you?d be missing out if you don?t go. What can I say but wow. My fiancé and I came here for a belatedvalentines dinner, and from the moment we entered the restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat. David?the chef?greeted usimmediately and introduced us to Katie?our waitress?who brought us to a table set intimately for two. After handing us ourmenu, David detailed his background and explained the flow of the dinner service. Over the course of the two hour meal, we feltlike nothing short of family. Regarding the food itself, David?s experience and passion were evident in the meal, which wascooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Courses were impeccably timed and the food was fresh, hot, and unbelievably tasty. From appetizer to dessert, everything was perfect. This was hands down the best meal I?ve had on the emerald coast, and I?drecommend it to anyone and everyone! If you live within 100 miles, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Read more

Amazing experience all around. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and unique (you really can't get it anywhere... else), and the dessert! I've never had strawberry tiramisu before, but it was beyond amazing. Portions are large, so be sure tobring your second stomach. Read more

Absolutely perfect fine dining experience. Intimate atmosphere, exquisite food, great presentation, and impeccable service.... Chef/Owner David and our server made us feel as though we were the only ones dining that evening. Flambe' cooking andconversation with Chef David tableside was very unique. Be sure to book early as locals know what an awesome place this is andit does fill up. Art gallery in the back of the restaurant was great as well. We'll be back for more special occasions andspread the word. Read more
