During our recent trip to Florida (Destin/Fort Walton Beach area), we went to Asiago's Skillet for breakfast with our son and... daughter-in-law. They both recommended Asiago's for a great, hearty breakfast. We were not disappointed. We were pleasantlygreeted and seated in about 5 minutes. The restaurant has an open feel with a beach-like atmosphere to match the area. I startedoff with a Mimosa as did my son. My wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law each ordered the Spicy Bloody Mary. The Mimosas weregreat and each of the women really liked their Spicy Bloody Mary. I saw that another patron had ordered the King of theBiscuits. It looked so good, so I ordered one as well. While certainly not low-cal, it tasted even better than it looked. Thetwo biscuits were topped with bacon, ham, sausage, and gravy and the plate also came with two scrambled eggs with cheddarcheese. It was a very filling and very tasty breakfast. If you're hungry, I recommend the King of the Biscuits. The service wasgood, our waitress was attentive, but not overly so, and the atmosphere was nice. There is ample parking on the side of thebuilding. I understand this is a local favorite and the food and service explains why. Highly recommended. Read more

Great breakfast in Ft Walton! Service was fast and friendly despite being very busy. I had the Local Sandwich with a pancake, my... husband had the cinnamon French toast, and my daughter had the American breakfast. Everything was tasty! Portions were large andreasonably priced. Read more

I really enjoyed this spot, even though the hostess seated others first that were there after we walked in. Didn't appear to be... regulars she seated as she really didn't speak much to the family. I had the seafood skillet! Crab and shrimp it was reallydelicious, different from the regular breakfast norm and I much enjoy it. The French toast was perfect as well as the crabcakes. Read more

Everything sounded amazing, so I got the Shrimp and Grits skillet. First off, everyone working there was EXTREMELY kind. Next, I... couldn't believe how fast I got my food. So happy I tried this place out on my way through. Will definitely be back. Heck, mayjust make a random trip with the family to try the bananas foster breakfast!!! Read more
