The wife & I arrived late (8:45), they still accompanied us. We had calamari and mussels & clams for an appy. Both were awesome,... calamari cooked perfectly, not greasy at all. For the main the wife ordered steak Oscar with Caesar salad & mixed vegetables.Steak was done to her liking and she gave it ????????????????. I ordered the loaded surf & turf. Steak was cooked perfectly. Itwas very tender for the thickness. Lobster tail was tender. The Cajun sauce you could drink with a straw, it?s that good. We came into town on the last plane of the day and were concerned about going to a restaurant basically an hour and a half... prior to closing. We were sat quickly and our server greeted us with a big smile. No sign of "OMG why did they have to show upnow?" Our appetizer was ordered right away and we got it within a few minutes. Our meal came after and seriously it was great!Everything was hot and fresh - honestly we didn't expect much given the late hour but it was as close to a perfect meal as we'vehad in a long time. After a long day of airports and full airplanes and all the hassles of travel it was truly a great way toend the day. We had only to drive back to Dawson Creek but all we did was talk about the food and the service. Outstanding. Wewould make a trip to FSJ specifically to eat here.
