We love the Newks in Tahlequah so of course we had to try the one in Ft Smith, Not the same , Ft Smith feels like the Wish... version of Newks . Pretty standard for Newk?s. Our order was correct. A little less Newk?s Q sauce than what I would prefer, easily fixable.
Went to Newts for the first time over the weekend. Had half chicken club and cup of fruit. I don?t eat lettuce so I took it off... the sandwich. What was left were one piece of chicken that didn?t even cover the bread, a tomato slice, one puny tastelesspiece on bacon and no cheese. Basically I got bread. My friends got soup which they said was just ok but their sandwiches werealso lacking. I have never got such terrible and unsatisfactory meal anywhere. I will never go back! Had a really good experience on our first visit 06/25. Wife ordered salad and i ordered newts cheesesteak and the bacon mac and... cheese. Everything was hot and had a lot of flavor. Sweet tea was delicious and we were very impressed. Read more
Waited 30 minutes for a salad that contained this quality of lettuce. Missing the pecans and croutons on the salad. Chicken was... so dry it wasn?t even edible. My husband?s sandwich was dripping with mayo that it wasn?t even supposed to have. There was nocreole mustard on the sandwich at all. Read more
First visit I ordered a sandwich and the red velvet cake. The sandwich was alright but the red velvet cake, I tried it and... noticed it was stale. So then I decided to check for a date and noticed it was dated enjoy by the previous day the 30th. (I gotit on the 31st). I always give places more then one try, off days happen and they are fairly new still. So today I gave itanother try got a Togo of the pizza and it was almost completely cold and crust was doughy. We have eaten here twice, the food for the most part is ok to good, some sandwiches look better than others. Here's one of few... issues. Training. Seems like the cashiers got very little training as they struggle to get orders in the system or get themwrong (both visits). To be a brand new restaurant in town, they need to have more than ONE cashier at lunch time on aSunday, Also, to be a new restaurant, they have many things (soda fountain) already out-of-order. I?ve been going to Newk?s for years across 5 different states! This Newk?s is hands down the best around!! The staff are always... nice, the restaurant and bathrooms are clean, and the manager here is the bomb! Highly recommend if you?re looking for a goodbite to eat, just remember this isn?t McDonalds and your longer waits will be worth it! Read more
