This is our new usual place when we want a nice atmosphere and great food even on a budget. Kids eat free which is always a nice... thing especially when u have a few lil ones like us. The cheeseburger was awesome, I suggest the roadhouse spuds for your side. I also had the wing, crispy and delicious. I tried... the cheesecake as well, it was very good. Brittney was our amazing server, had me laughing several times, she is definitely"cool beans". I'll go back for sure. Read more
I enjoyed my food, there was some snafu on the order but it got worked out. It is loud there, so be prepared to yell. Knowing... that going in you should be fine. The waitresses are trying to show a little more skin for a little more tippage which is fineby me but not an incentive. I tip on service and our waitress overall did a fine job. I gave 4 of 5 stars due to the loudnessbut that's just me and it is the nature of JJ's. Read more
Not sure what happened here since the last time we visited. Fried shrimp were very overcooked and I got the bottom of the fry... basket. Husband's Reuben was just mediocre. We did have good service, even though we were told a drink menu didn't exist. Wefound one on the table next to us. I must be getting old as the music was just a little too loud for us old people and kids at5:00. I think we will take this off our rotation. Read more
I had an early lunch and it was not busy at all. The Philly Cheesesteak and fried mushrooms were good. The bathroom was clean... and stocked. The food was pretty fast. The server checked on me several time to make sure everything was ok. All in all, goodlunch stop. Read more
Good food and friendly service. Had the Philly Cheese couple days ago. Was good but then again Philly Cheese is good just about... everywhere. What was surprising is the cheesecake ???? Although we have eaten there several times, it seems more and more (specially recently that they upped their prices) that we... don't get what we pay for. The food is OK, not outstanding and not bad either. But their cheapest item or combo for lunch is $12(or 1199 cents as they price it there). Most of it is in the $12.50 to $14 range. It was $31 for lunch (2 people) plus the tipit was close to $40. $40 for lunch is a bit much, call me cheap, but it is a bit excessive. Knowing that there are other options/ places that offer lunch specials where I can get a small salad and a burger for $9, I would prefer to go there instead. Again,the food is not bad, but I am never leave out of there telling my self "You know, you paid $12 for the dish alone, but it wasworth it" Pictured are the Chipotle Southwest Wrap and the Beef Street Tacos. I've had several types of meals here over the years and it's consistently pretty good. I like the chicken dishes and burgers the... most! Pretty decent drink specials throughout the week usually as well. Fun atmosphere with live music on the weekends. Edit:Chicken & waffles was one of the best meals I?ve had this year! Read more
