I ordered a combination Pad Thai. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I enjoyed the fried dumplings more.
This place is very small inside, but it is a family owned establishment and they are very warm people. You can tell the lady who... cooks the food loves to do it. It's like when your mom or grandma cooks for you.. no one come close to that special meal theyprepare for you because of that 1 special ingredient ( love). I felt that in her food. An adorable little restaurant! The colorful walls and the cute little dining area is definitely unique in the area. The... restaurant is a fresh of breath air around the delapidated area around Midland. I had the lunch special (L1) that included anegg drop soup, and chicken fried rice with an egg roll. The egg drop soup tasted homemade and was seasoned well but the chipstasted a little greasy and old like it might have been cooked with old oil. The friend rice was phenomenal. It's definitely alittle different from other fried rices I've had in the area but in a good way. The egg roll was crunchy and flavorful. Thestaff were incredibly kind and polite. Fyi. Have never spent 20$ on just some egg drop soup and wonton soup. Careful when ordering through door dash the price on the large... soup is misleading it looks like it?ll be 4.50 turns out to be that a large soup is 10$ and it?s not even that big. To top itoff both were So salty I couldn?t even drink it. The wontons are not real wontons and were all broken up and soup was greasy.Worst wonton soup and egg drop soup. Called to see if it was a glitch she referred me to door dash as if she couldn?t doanything about the pricing and return my money back. The soup was literally all salt and water so why $10. So disappointed. Thewings I ordered were so burned and dry. Chili oil was old and dry and no flavor. I can?t believe I spent almost $60 and feltlike my money was wasted. Spring rolls were nasty, the peanut sauce was watery and disgusting. Needless to say, it was a hugemistake ordering from this place. Never again! Read more
