Extremely disappointed with the service I received last night my fiancee and our 2 kids (10&7 mo) went in and the guy that spoke... only said that where we were heading was a cold area I smile saying that was fine.he seemed aggravated to have a table... Maybeit's a rough day. He comes over asking what we want. Mind you he never brought menu's so he rolls his eyes and goes to get themcomes back and gets our orders 3 drinks three meals and a side of plain eggs . Out comes the waffle for the 10 year old and hisbacon a few minutes later the other two meals comes out.after a few more minutes the rest of the 10 year olds comes out and lastthe plain scrambled eggs ... We still have no drink and this dude is clearly having a great time serving the other table andhas not come back or even look our direction. So we finish eating and go to pay and this dude is trying to charge us for drinksthat they never brought and gives us attitude cause he never brought them out. Nicole had a very nasty look on her face when I asked for apple butter like I was bothering her. I tipped and was nice. I don?t... know why she had to look so aggravated it wasn?t even busy. Fresh ? reliable.. it is what it is! Don?t expect fine dining but the staff was amazing and the food was consistent.
I usually don?t write reviews but after my encounter tonight with this Waffle House it?s a must. I honestly love coming to this... Waffle House but tonight left a different taste in my mouth. The women who greeted my spouse and I when we walked in gave usdirty looks and immediately told us she wasn?t taking to go orders and that there was another Waffle House down the road (Iguess she just assumed we were ordering to go, she never even asked) We asked how long would it be if we sat and she said idkbut there?s another Waffle House you can go to. She stated her shift was almost over frustratedly. I totally understand thingsgetting busy and overwhelming but there wasn?t that many people (AT ALL). I feel we were greeted poorly. It?s like she didn?teven want to take care of us whether we were to go or sitting to be honest. I didn?t catch her name but she is an older whitewomen. I come here often maybe once a week and never experienced this. She may be new since I?ve never seen her before but thesetypes of jobs can get overwhelming and I wish people would acknowledge that before taking these types of jobs if they can?thandle what it comes with.
