Last night I took out my 86 years old mom and my teenage son for dinner at this place. First time there. We got seated withing... 15 minutes. Our server was very attentive and professional. Our chef exceptional! Food was DELICIOUS and the portions verygenerous. Way better than Benihana and much affordable. We had the pleasure to share our table with a very nice and funfamily. My family has been to other hibachi grills and enjoyed the food. Tonight's meal blew the others out of the park!! The menu was... more expansive, including the children's menu. My children both were excited to have salmon and scallops offered on their menu,while my husband and I were happy they were still ordering from the kids' menu. The chef was incredible, and regrettably, I wasunable to get his name before he finished. My tuna, the kids chosen seafood, and my husband's chicken and shrimp were cooked andseasoned to perfection! The fried rice and vegetables were also brag worthy!! As I've said, we've been to other hibachi grillspreviously so we knew most of the same tricks, but our chef had new tricks we hadn't seen before. Went to dinner on a Saturday night after church. Place was packed we had to wait for 1hr before getting a seat. The food was ok.... Place was clean even for the amount of people there. Place was nice, pretty fountain in the front. They have a large selection of choices in their menu. However the simple make... rolls and hand-rolls feel too small in my opinion. I?ve tried other places where the simple tolls (California roll, salmonavocado roll,etc) are a bit bigger portions. All in all it was good for what it was. Fast service was a plus. What a phenomenal evening we had celebrating family birthdays at Hokkaido. All the staff was friendly & attentive but our... Hibachi cook was the most amazing entertainer!! He was very skilled at his craft but more than that his cooking mixed with anamazing sense of humor was definitely the highlight of our evening! I highly recommend this restaurant! In fact, if I could I?dgive them a 5*++++ that?s how impressed we all were.
