When I eat at the Cracker Barrel in Jensen beach, I?m always satisfied with the service and food. I ordered sugar ham, I got... stay ham. I ordered dumplings, they tasted so different in a bad way. We love Cracker Barrel and usually enjoy our meal very much. However, on our last visit they just couldn't get it together. Even... though they weren't very busy... the kitchen was unbelievably slow. When we did receive our meal 45 minutes after ordering, itwas missing multiple items...??????? For example, both the county fried chicken and county fried steak are supposed to come withgravy...??????? Ours did not. We waited another 10 minutes for the gravy, and by then, the rest of the meal was cold...???? Ifour server was half as interested in our service, as she was in making excuses, I could overlook the kitchens shortcomings...however on this day both the front and back of the house failed miserably, and didn't seem to care...??????? I could go on aboutother deficiencies, like having to fetch my own straws and condiments, but I'm chalking it up to a bad day for them. I'lldefinitely give them another try, but not anytime soon. This was my son & I first time at this location. The wait for seating wasn't that long. However, the wait for food was a long... time. My son didn't like what supposed to be frendtoast. He stated it just tastes like butter bread. Nevertheless, I ordered grilled chicken in maple syrup& bacon Mac in cheese & turnip greens for my sides. It's was great no complaints. It wasn't bad, like most cracker barrels they were really busy, we were there just before the lunch crowd and they seemed to be... handling it good. The service was pretty quick and friendly, we did have an issue with their country ham being tough as nailsbut with the help of the manger they gave us something else, the nice thing l liked was the fact that l didn't have to run downa waitress to get a refill on our drinks, that seems to be a problem at some of the other CBs we ate at. Since I work on JohnDeere tractors I had to get a picture of the John Deere sign at the front door to go with my collection. Read more

Very good experience. I had the Southern fried Chicken. Everything was top notch. Update: I wish my review had of stayed... positive. But I ate it this cracker barrel again and it took over an hour for us to get our food, so disappointed. Read more
