Amazing! If I?m in Florida, I?m making at least one stop here. The food is amazing! I get the fritters and the tuna every time.... They were out of the seared tune so I got the tuna tar tar. The dinner specials are always delicious so I highly suggest goingfor dinner with a big appetite. The portions are very large and I always feel like the price is so nice! From what I hear, this is a fun place to be on special occasions like New Year?s Eve and the Christmas boat parade, so I stopped... by to check it out on a normal week day. There is a small covered patio-style outdoor seating area that offers a view of thewater and bridge with a dirt parking lot in between. Indoors seemed to be a mixture of local watering hole and favorite lunchspot, pretty packed for a Tuesday afternoon. It?s a lot more casual than I expected. The service was excellent! The food was aswell, no complaints. I had the tuna sashimi and a ginormous slice of peanut butter pie, which was insanely delicious! I havemixed feelings, because it felt like a very casual beach bar with higher end food and service. My reviews of waterfrontrestaurants lean pretty heavily on the atmosphere and the view, and I felt it was lacking a bit in those areas, thus the 4-starrating. Next time I?ll leave my expectations behind and I?ll just enjoy the friendly service and the food. If I lived closer,I?d try everything on the menu at least twice. Read more
Absolutely one of the best places We have EVER eaten!!! Whom ever the chef is, he sure sure does put a lot of heart and soul... into his food and it definitely shows in taste and presentation! We had two different appetizers (the clams, and the saladpictures below) both incredible, we also had the grouper special and the sword fish?.all 4 items were so delicious that evenafter being incredible full neither one of us wanted to stop eating!! Also the service was seriously too notch; Michael was ourserver and he did an outstanding job, he was incredibly observant 100% attentive, and incredibly polite! I can?t explain enoughhow nice it was to have excellent service; it was so appreciated!!! Our first Lunch at 12A buoy was terrific. Cozy restaurant with nice outdoor space. Food was delicious. Had the Burrata, Conch... Fritters, Fried Oysters and fish special sandwich. Prices were reasonable. Great, friendly service. We went at 1:30 and got atable, but it was very full?.popular spot! We will go back. Read more
Came in today after years of knowing about this place and how good people talk about this restaurant. I don't know why in the... life of me, it just never occurred to me to give this place a chance. I had to try their lobster Mac and cheese and Man let metell you it was fire. The place was packed so our meals took a while which is fine because they say it on the menu. Also hadhalf a dozen oysters and blackened fish fresh catch of the day in a sandwich with cheese grits that were amazing. I'm definitelycoming back to try other menu items Read more
We live an hour away and go there to get the Lobster Bisque, Clam Chowder, Fried Shrimp plate, and the Fried Oyster appetizer.... The photos are The Catch of the Day Reuben, Conch Sandwich, and Fried Shrimp with Rice Pilaf. Certainly one of our favoriteplaces to eat seafood. And so far the staff has been superb. Not lazy, constantly going full speed, and very pleasant. If verybusy it may take a little while to receive the food, but we feel it's so well worth it. Read more
This is one of our favorite places to eat while vacationing in this area. The clam chowder is the best I've had anywhere. It's... thick and served hot with plenty of clams. I also ordered lobster and it was amazing. They cut it up into bite size pieces andsauted it in garlic butter and placed it back into the shell. The servers all were cheerful, kind, and helpful. Came here on Sunday night with wife and two daughters. Service was excellent, our girls' food was perfect. Our meal was one of... the best I've had. Wife's ribeye was cooked perfectly, I had whole roasted stuffed spiny lobster. Presentation was beautiful andwe will be coming back here whenever we can. Outstanding restaurant.
