Drive thru was extremely backed up, so I decided to run in for a couple biscuits Since there was only 1 customer at the counter,... I thought it would a quick order. I was wrong. I had to wait for someone to take my order, the the girl didn't know how toring it up. She finally asked for assistance, rang up the order and repeated back the order, but I couldn't understand her. This place is a joke. Went in at 10:44am waiting in line. Lady tells me no longer serving breakfast. I walk outside to leave and... look it up to see it?s at 11 am. I return to the lobby to wait for another 20 mins in line to place my order. When I finally getup to place my order she then calls a party of 4 from the back of the line to ring up ice cream in front of everyone! Proceedsto tell me she will get the ice cream order and let the other works get mine. After 25 mins of waiting I just left! My daughter and I love Jack's for a quick snack and especially for a delicious milkshake.. Her favorite is the Smokey Mountain... Fudge milkshake.. The restaurant and its employees are always clean and super nice. I've been to other Jack's restaurants in ourarea and due to rudeness from employees and the restaurant not being clean I don't visit those locations any longer. I used to like eating at this location. The burgers are usually pretty good. Often times though I?ve had to ask for fresh bread.... Today the bread had mold through it. Not just a little on the surface, all the way through the bread. I was in a hurry, runninglate to get to work so I just started eating while driving. I noticed a funny taste. I had this nasty s**t in my mouth. I won?tbe returning here. I don?t want to purchase food items at a restaurant that I have to thoroughly inspect before eating. Read more
3??? Staff is always super friendly and generally pretty quick. However the food at the Ft.O location is always 2nd rate to the... East Ridge location. 3 measly overcooked strips of bacon on the *big* BLT. Grits are always excessively dry and do you want someeggs with your oil...C'mon folks. Read more
Never seen or heard of it before, but decided to try out the food at this establishment. Stopped during dinner time and noticed... that it was not busy, maybe one vehicle at the drive thru. Opted to dine in. Walking into the location and it appears to be likesimilar fast food restaurants but with more of an "open" feel. Inquired about the biscuits and was told that they are limited towhat can be made since most ingredients are not available. Got the crispy chicken sandwich with fries, instead. The crispychicken sandwich was a disappointment because it was smaller than other restaurants' chicken sandwich, it was dry, lackedflavor, and the sandwich had over seven (7) pickle pieces on the bottom bun which made the sandwich soggy from the pickle juice.I never requested anything additional to the sandwich, only how it's regularly made. The fries were very flavorful; not surewhat the seasoning was, but that made it taste better than most restaurants fries. The restaurant was not clean with tableshaving past patrons food crumbs, food particles, napkins, and one seat even had some floor mats rolled up and stored on theseats. This appeared to be a poorly managed and not well maintained restaurant, especially for it being empty during the entiretime I was there which was for about 20 minutes. (I did not try the chicken) this review is onky about the burgers and fries and shakes. The food here was average. The burger... was a little better than the fries and milkshake. None of it was bad though. It was all good, its just that it was pretty basic.I must say though, the dining area was rather comfortable/cozy compared to other places.
