Worth the $$. Best place on Fort Myers Beach! We were here 2 years ago and thought the same thing so obviously we would come... back. We will probably go a 2nd time for this trip also. Great service, incredible food! Can't remember too much about themeal from 2 years ago (I think surf and turf) but the lobster rosoto sticks out in out minds. This trip... The martinis weregreat. Had lobster bisque which is a favorite of ours and may well be the best we ever had. The bacon wrapped scallops withmushroom crostini were divine. Also had Snapper Oscar and the Filet Mignon as our main courses, both of which were excellent. Five stars for sure!! Read the reviews. The only reason this place doesn't have a 5 star rating overall or closer to 5 starsare a few very picky people or people that don't understand that you can't walk into a the best restaurant in Fort Myers Beachwithout a reservation and expect to be seated. Made reservations 3 weeks in advance for 8 people. Specified a sunset view. Arrived and was seated outside around the corner... out of view from the sunset. Immediately I went to the manager to ask why we are sitting here when I had specifically asked fora nice sunset view three weeks prior. Manager said all outside rail tables are for 4 only. I told him I asked pacifically for asunset view with eight people. He said I can?t help you I didn?t take the reservation. The waiter comes to our table and heasked how we are doing and I proceeded to tell him not happy. He said that table over there with the six people are gettingready to leave I?ll ask if you can sit there. I said great that would be good. He came back and told us we were not allowed tomove. The manager never came out to see if there is anything he can do to make our experience better. He hid from me the entiretime. The waiter was good the food was good. This is the view. We ate here in January with friends. My husband had blackened hog fish and I had grouper. Both were delicious. Service was... excellent. And it's great to have a drink at the beach below and watch the sunset before dinner. I will return! Read more
