After Hurricane Ian, a buddy and I came down from Indiana with water and to assist with cleanup. At night when we were driving... back to Buckingham from Matlacha, this was the only restaurant in Fort Myers open. The staff was exhausted, out of half theirfood, and were staying open late to help the community with a smile on their faces. The feeling I got in my gut wasn't fromhunger. We had breakfast time was 9am Pleasant crew this morning. The ladies were happy and they played music for their customers. As... for Food my grits were cold which they took care it quickly and my waffles didn?t arrive on time I was done with my breakfastonce was given to me (which took home) There only two other customers and place wasn?t busy Establishment was extremely cleanand bathroom was clean as well. My server was great. HOWEVER, there were a few other employees that made things uncomfortable and unpleasant. Angry, verbally... fighting, harsh and repeated profanity, banging things around. Made me want to leave and I did without finishing my food. Again,my server was great. I think the cook was busy being mad and the food quality took a hit. Read more
