fantastic pizza and garlic knots. knots are light and tasty. no heavy brick like most places. pizza had a great crust, cheese... and sauce. no sweet, tomato paste style sauce. for my taste, I added a miniscule sprinkle of salt. it amped up the flavor abit. can\'t wait for them to work out the dough recipe for grandma pie. a step above DHOP. friendly and welcoming staff Read more

I finally stopped by today to check out Uncle Rico’s to see if all these rave reviews were legit! Well in my opinion they are.... Tried a slice of regular and Sicilian no toppings the only way to gauge a good pizza. Finding out they use Grande cheese is whatmade it for me. Most shops here don’t use it because it’s expensive but the better shops on the east coast of Florida do andthem being from Hollywood Fl they went with what works. Both slices excellent crust great balance and the Sicilian light andairy. Looking forward to returning but just wish they were closer. This place deserves their great reviews! Read more

This is a great pizza spot. In my top 3 for Fort Myers. Love the NY influence in the pizza and Cuban influence in the beef... patty. The garlic knots are unbelievable! Super fresh. Perfectly balanced ingredients, baked to perfection, crisp on the outsideand soft on the inside.\nOh, and you’ll want to throw some Mike’s Hot Honey on a slice and experience a brand new take onpizza. Don’t walk, run to this place. Uncle Rico’s is the newest pizza spot close to downtown and well worth it. Don’t be put off... by the nondescript exterior—the pizza, garlic knots and beef patties, oh yes, the beef patties are worthy of writing homeabout. Add some Mike’s Honey (chili-infused) over the top and you’ll thank me. Great dough, best pepperonis in SWFL and somesweet throwback 90’s R&B music in the background….sign me up Rico, I’m in. I am always looking for good pizza--and being from New Jersey, I\'m extra interested in really good New York Style pizza, so... since this place opened a few weeks ago down the street from my house, I\'ve been wanting to try it. The universally-positivereviews only whetted my appetite.\n\nSo today, I ordered delivery and (temporarily) satisfied my craving. It took less than 25minutes after ordering for my pepperoni, mushrooms, and fresh garlic pizza to arrive. The smell was delicious, and the pielooked pretty good, too! (See photos.)\n\nThe pizza was everything a New York Style pizza should be: cheese dripping off theslice, a nice tomatoey sauce, very flavorful Pepperoni, and an especially yummy crust that begged to be eaten even when thecheese and sauce were already nibbled off it.\n\nI quickly gobbled four slices, and would have eaten more if I wasn\'tcompletely stuffed. I added a little parmesan, but it certainly wasn\'t necessary for a satisfying experience.\n\nI have twovery mild complaints that prevented this from being a perfect experience. There was an initial hint of a metallic taste thatcould have been from the fresh garlic (which was however nicely chucked and quite piquant). This metallic taste disappearedafter a second or two. Also, I would have liked more mushrooms to better complement the slightly spicy pepperoni. But these arecertainly not enough to reduce my review from 5 stars, and they won\'t be enough to keep me away. Read more

Stopped by Uncle Rico\'s for lunch on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The Lasagna lunch special sounded great, but I... wanted to get a baseline on the pizza. Slices were generous and fresh out of the oven. $6 for 2 slices and a can soda is agreat deal. Uncle Rico was friendly and personable himself. I\'ll be back for sure! Read more
