It's a novelty. But it's expensive. $55-60 per person. And you don't actually get a lot of any particular item, just about 4... bites of a large variety of items. I save this place as strictly a special-occasion restaurant. The atmosphere andcook-it-yourself model is fun. The server brings you raw food and you boil things in broth, or on a cast iron pan. The hotplates are on your table. I withhold 1 star only because of the cost. Our server, Gabriel, was engaging, friendly and veryattentive. We had 2 birthdays at the table and he brought out 2 decorated plates. Read more

This is not for the cheap spenders or fast eaters. It takes time, like for us 2.5 hours. We have enjoyed the Melting Pot... Restaurants in several states (because we move a lot). This Fort Myers location did not disappoint us at all! Our waiter was sogood and took care of the way we like! Plenty of delicious food. Worth every dime. Read more

READ!!! Hurricane Ian Flooded Our Home and Vehicles. Melting Pot Owner (Bill) surprised wife and I with free 4 course fondue... meal + anniversary balloons and photo/picture frame + chocolate strawberries. However that wasn’t all. He even offered ourfamily an RV to stay in while we are displaced from our home which is unlivable. Our insurance didn’t cover alternativehousing so Bill saved us. While in the restaurant I overheard that Bill has been doing nice things for emergency servicepersonnel and other things in the community. This is a business we need to support in the community because in our time of needthis business has supported us. I attached photos. This is a rare photo of our family smiling right now amidst so muchdevastation and disaster post hurricane ian. Bill Schmearer we are forever grateful for your kindness and compassion to ourfamily. The Melting Pot is a treasure in the community and I wish it many more years of success. Bill, the owner, doesn’teven know we wrote this review. He just is a nice guy when no one is watching ?????? 5/7/2022, 4pm Came here with my better half, to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. We started out with... drinks... Strawberry Sangria and a hard cider. Delicious. The water was tasty...and that's important... We got the fondue fortwo... Started out with the Wisconsin Cheddar fondue...which was amazing! The bread and pretzel bites were delicious...evenmanaged to eat some veggies... The steak lovers and the surf n turf came next. We chose the flat grill to cook our food. Weadded the lobster tail and that was totally worth it. The shrimp was delicious. The chicken tasted fresh. The lobster wasawesome. The multiple kinds of steak made the meal. The peppercorn and teriyaki steaks were my fav. Now we were supposed to getthe chocolate fondue as our dessert, but could not come close to finishing all the food. So the Manager allowed us to return ata later date for the chocolate fondue. Clean restaurant. Clean bathrooms. Excellent dining room music. Excellent service. Avery fun idea for dinner. Had a blast!!! One of the better fine dining restaurants around. Worth the trip for sure. Bring yourappetite AND your wallet. Great food isn't cheap. Read more
