Shocked and humiliated don't cut what we experienced. First was told a 10 min wait but more like 30. No biggie. The horrendous... part came after we finally got to our table, where we waited another 15 minutes before anyone even came around to our table. Thewaitress taller in height with blonde hair looked me straight in the eye and said in the nastiest of tones, and shaking herhead"oh it's gonna be a long time before I will ever get to you"! In a total shock, I simply smiled back at her and told myfamily let's go. My little ones didn't understand as we all got up and made our way out, amid the very packed restaurant whereother patrons equally shocked as were more apologetic. I had a feeling that we weren't going to be served, and the waitressconfirmed what I thought. I was hoping because we didn't meet the "demographic " was the reason she treated us so poorly. Shemade it clear either way she was not going to serve us. It's sad. I was a manager over at what were the Sanibel outlets, andordered here frequently over the years and drove 45 minutes from home just because you guys make the best calzones. I haven't ordered food from Starz in quite awhile, so I decided to order the eggplant appetizer and the fettuccine alfredo with... chicken. I ordered this as take out. Went here for pizza and Margaritas. Both were great. I will return again. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. I... need to add to this review that I ordered a pizza last night to be delivered. The pizza was fantastic. It was what pizzasshould taste like. I haven't had one like that in years. Not since I have been in southwest Florida. It was great. Thedelivery was also really neat. They gave me a time span and the pizza came at the beginning of the time span they gave me. Very good baked ziti, and pretty good fettuccine alfredo and ravioli. Atmosphere was a nice and casual and staff was good. If... the price was just a little cheaper I'd give it 4 stars, but for the price one could maybe expect just a little more atmosphere. But really, the food was good. Read more

Almost a year ago, I gave them a 5-star review. We have eaten in, taken out, or had delivery quite frequently since we moved to... the area. Recently one of our takeout items was a salad which after biting into something hard, I found that there was either anail or piece of metal in the salad. I called to alert the manager on duty who happened to be the owner. She did not seem overlyconcerned, but did offer to comp me on a future visit since my husband had paid cash. Fast forward to yesterday when I orderedtwo pizzas and requested the credit be applied, the owner then told me that she could not do that because she showed that it hadalready been given. Obviously not since we haven't been back, and after questioning her about it, it was obvious she wasn'tinterested in settling this and in honoring her offer. That is a very least I would think that she could do. The bare minimum ofcustomer service. I canceled the order and we won't be back. Read more
