Overpriced oaxtails food taste more spicy than flavorful, the cabbage is not all the way cooked and who adds frozen green beans... and peas in cabbage? Definitely not worth the price two plates of oxtails over $50. Read more

My daughter had been really wanting to try Jamaican food, so a week or two ago we stopped at this little restaurant. Mind... y\'all, this was right before closing time. The door was still unlocked, so we went in. There was no one still dining and wecould tell that the lady of the house was wrapping up for the night. We simply asked if we could get a menu because my daughterand I have both been there. That last minute person when you\'re ready to go, yeah we didn\'t want to be that. The lady workingwas very gracious however and informed us that she still had some things that wouldn\'t be too much trouble. So, we went aheadand ordered from the selection. We had to wait a short while and we knew it was passed time now for this gracious woman to beout the door on her way home. Well, we started talking and had a nice conversation while we waited. We got the food to goobviously but I kinda wish we would\'ve been earlier just so I could tell her how good it was. The food was down rightdelicious!!! So, of your looking for something with a little kick, a little spice and a whole lot of flavor, go give Islandspicez a try. I\'m willing to bet you will not regret it. I really wish I could remember her name, but to the last who made ourdinner that night, if you see this I thank you for your hospitality and for the amazing dinner. You made my daughter\'s nightwhich obviously made mine as well! Read more

Atmosphere was very friendly very cozy. It is the small establishment but very clean. They give a magnanimous amount of food... with the carryout orders. And the beef patties reminded me of the ones back home in Jamaica. I shall be back Read more

1 heaping plate of jerk chicken w/ rice & peas ($10) fed me and my hungry boyfriend! ?? We loved eating the rice and peas mixed... with the chicken. Their flavors are stunning and it?s an unapologetically, authentic business. Our current favorite place to eataround here, quick drive-thru food just doesn?t compare!! We were greeted by a lovely lady who quickly prepared our food andkindly recommend the jerk chicken or the curry chicken. She made us feel welcomed, which is a huge factor in choosing where toeat or what places to return to. Next time we?re getting the curry chicken! ???? Read more
