I?m not gonna lie, I checked Google Maps for ?bakery? and it brought me here. When I walked in, it didn?t take very long to... realize that it was NOT a bakery, but a lovely German Restaurant. Since it was lunch time, I thought, why not. Well, nothinghappens by coincidence. Friendly service, and absolutely DELICIOUS food. The mustard alone, which was served with my Bratwurst,was by far the best mustard I?ve ever had. The German Potato salad, which is served warm, is a nice change from the norm. We tried appetizers, main entree and dessert. Be sure you save room for the strudel - both apple and cheese were delicious.
Hands down one of the best German restaurants in SWFL! What a little gem. It?s super clean, awesome ambiance, really nice staff.... Food was 10/10. Loved the super crispy potato pancakes and the currywurst was something special. Very tasty, and also veryaffordable! It was about $15 per person (2) with drinks (soda water) two lunches & an appetizer! Highly recommend! Read more
We were in Ft. Myers on vacation and I couldn?t wait to try this place. It?s the real deal!! Everything was absolutely... delicious. I had plain veal wienerschnitzel with potato dumplings and spaetzle. My husband had veal Jaegerschnitzel with potatodumplings and red cabbage. They were both to die for! I also had to take a piece of Black Forest Cake back to the hotel to try.Absolutely great. Can?t wait to be back in Ft. Myers to visit again. We were stationed in Germany for 3 years and one of the many things we loved from their beautiful country was the food! I never give a 5 rating but this German Restarant was fabulous! I had the weinerscnitzel with spaetzl and red cabbage and my... husband has Bratwurst with potato salad. All were wonderful and Hans was is a great cook and server! He?s amazing. We will beback soon for sure! Read more
Food is amazing! Authentic German food, made by the owners (obviously) a very nice couple! We had the best Bavarian pretzel... and beer cheese for an appetizer, then had the schnitzels, chicken & veal plus 2 sides each... Made for the best Black Fridaylunch ever! (You can hear the owner/chef pounding out the schnitzel in the back, it's that fresh! No kidding! Can't wait tocome try the rest of the menu. Read more
Authentic delicious food, beautiful restaurant. Cold delicious beer. Satisfying dessert. We had a great time and enjoyed the... food and experience. Best pretzel we've ever had. Potato pancakes were very good too. The red cabbage on the schnitzel isphenomenal. The apple strudel hit the spot! There's outside seating too. They also sell wine. Read more
