Amazing hole in the wall restaurant! The waitress was quick with getting our food to the table and delivered top service even... giving us to go coffee on our way out! This high volume diner delivers well on traditional fare and extraordinary value. The coffee was served hot and fast. The eggs... were perfect. I even got a personal meet with the kitchen manager / master chef Chris who checked on me personally. What a greatencounter. What a sweet find! Just a good old small diner with fresh home cooking. I had the sausage gravy biscuit. Really good and it... came with real potatoes home fries. This restaurant was recommended to me by a Fort Myers native and Iam very happy I discovered this place. It has a Louisiana... flair with it's menu items like the Shrimp Po'Boy sandwich; there was so many things on the menu that sounded delicious. My momultimately got the country fried steak and eggs, with home fries. The steak?: Crispy, golden, and THICC. (And that's a plus). Itneeded a whole other plate. Today was my first time eating here, but it won't be my last! Just moved to the area and I was told my many people to try out... Fowler Street Grill. The environment was cozy, the staff was fantastic! I feel awful for not remembering our waitress' name butshe was an absolute delight! I got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich (which was HUGE and delicious) with the best fries I'veever had. Now I'm worried since they deliver that this is all I will ever eat and might gain quite a few pounds! Read more
I?m always enjoyed coming to this place to eat breakfast but lately something has changed. I got a new waitress and the other... waitress saw there was food in the Warmer and did nothing to help her including others around her. I also noticed the to goorder took priority over dine in customers. So finally when my waitress found my food something must have gone wrong with theorder yet another delay. The person across from her got her food and was almost finished. I left not eating breakfast. I?mglad I ordered a water or I would have been waiting to check out. I won?t be coming back. One other major concern is noticedthe waitress handling all surfaces and never washing or cleaning her hands. I came in and the table was dirty and waitressasked me why I was standing.
