Let me tell you something? YALL NEED TO COME HERE. We had a little bit of everything! From the ribs, the deviled eggs, the... shrimp and grits, the country fried steak, and the chicken and waffles. The food was absolutely amazing! Our server Victoriawas very nice and energetic, she laughed with us, and always made sure we were happy with the meals. Don?t even get me startedwith the deserts! We had to personally thank and applaud Miss/Ms/Mrs Bonnie for the amazing deserts. We were not disappointed atall, 10/10 for this establishment. We will definitely be back. Read more

5/5 stars! I wish I could give it 10! The kindness of our waitress, the promptness of our meal and the deliciousness of every... bite was reflected upon as I write this article. After having the chicken and Waffles, I can honestly say, this dish needs towin an award. The homemade syrup is divine. The syrup itself has seasoning and is delectable. The waffle is more than just aflat palatable taste in my mouth. The outside is ?toasted?, crunchy, the inside is light, airy maybe even fluffy. It?s likehaving a miracle on a plate. The chicken? the outer bits were lightly seasoned, almost to nothing but I could tell the batter onthe chicken had something in it. I just couldn?t put my finger on it. The chicken itself wasn?t dry, wasn?t too moist. It didn?thold water and it made it perfect to pair with these waffles. Together this dish was a perfect harmony, like the perfect canvasto paint on. A edible canvas that the ?paint? or syrup was to sit upon. Then came the ?crown?. The sweet potato hash. Light, crunchy but not too much so. The sweet potato was the perfect pairing that I never would I have thought I wanted, dare needed, but it was delightful. Onto the Chicken Pot Pie: This is no grandmother?s recipe for chicken pot pie, it?s a fusion of anamazing flaky pastry with a chicken broth that?s just thick enough to be a sauce but not thick enough to detract from what wasin it. I wish I could liken it to maybe a wonton soup broth but it?s just so very much better than cheap Chinese food. Theinside of the CPP: Delectable, delicious and well rounded! The chicken pieces in size were smart. This is no hastily made, hastily eaten type of meal, care and love and practice along with thoughtful creating went into this. Pulling the chicken apartyourself, pulling the elegant pastry apart yourself made eating this very much a process of loving the steps it takes to eatthis dish. There is an elegance and dexterity to this that little elsewhere on restaurants is presented. Who wo Read more

Pricey, but great atmosphere and food. Some portions, particularly side items, could be bigger for cost. Sauces are great, frog... legs a little underwhelming. Out of town guests loved it (perfectly spicy and flavorful chicken, they said). Presentation anddecor great and good for day date. Sweet tea perfect. Read more

First time visiting today but it won't be the last. Every thing I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. My girl had... the meatloaf sandwich. And I gotta say, it was spot on. Fries were perfect too. I had the chicken fried steak. Damn. It washuge. And tender and moist. The Mac and cheese that came with it was perfect also. Definitely recommend. Next time will be forbreakfast. Because their chicken and waffles is gonna be a must try! Read more

First time here, been wanting to try for sometime. My wife came here a while back and she loved it. She made reservations for... Father?s Day breakfast and it did not disappoint. Corned beef hash was on point and so where the biscuits. Don?t forget aboutthe donuts! So good Read more

After reading all the great reviews I stopped by for dinner. Very nice, cozy, and rustic place. Servers were nice and friendly.... The food was very presentable, fresh, and cooked well. Unfortunately looks can be very deceiving; I really wanted to like thisplace. First the rustic decor is not an excuse to avoid cleaning. There?s cob webs everywhere, the air vents are filthy, andthe window/blinds are full of dirt and dust. If you?re going to have a table against a window, at least clean the windowregularly since customers will be looking at the window throughout their visit. The food looked very nice and presentable, theywere all fresh and cooked properly but lacked seasoning. There was no seasoning what-so-ever on anything not even salt. Read more

Very authentic atmosphere to a New Orleans feel. Cajun French style. So beautiful. The food was AMAZING!! Kim was our server and... she did and excellent job. Started off with fried frog legs more for the kids to try. Can't compete them to anything, but Ipersonally did not like it. We were a party of 10 and most of us ordered chicken and waffles. Delicious!! I personally had theshrimp and grits and was very impressed even though shrimp is not my fave. The BLGT was very good as well. The gravy on thecountry fried steak was sweeter than were used to. Not our preference, but overall the meal was good. Hubby ordered the meatloafsandwich! Superb. Pics:shrimp&grits. Fried frog legs, chicken & waffles. Read more

We weren't sure what to expect but it was a non-chain option for us on the way to the airport. The staff was friendly and... welcoming. I ordered chicken and waffles. My mom ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. For both ofus the portions were massive. The breading on both the chicken and the steak was light and perfectly fried. We were content withall our choices and the service was excellent. Next time we're in the area, we will certainly visit again. We had a little bitof trouble locating it but it was worth finding.
