I?ve been to Crave several times over the past five years and I leave each time satisfied with my meal and the service received.... The servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Was in the area. After seeing all of the pictures online we decided to pay a visit. There was a wait. I didn't realize how small... the dining room was. We ordered mimosas. I ordered an omelet. Super yummy! My fiance and I cannot wait to come back and try more from the menu. Breakfast all day, salads, sandwiches,... starters, and heartier entrees. Lots of vegan/vegetarian or carnivorous items to choose from. We would have loved to try themimosas or drinks from the menu, but we had plans later that we couldn't be buzzed for. Fresh squeezed orange juice soundedamazing. We settled on a cold brew coffee, can of coke and a bottle of water. Nothing came from a gun or tap so that wasinteresting - I like it! The warmed goat cheese appetizer was perfect! It came with a toasted baguette and giant cracker withsauteed mushrooms on the side. Would 10/10 get it again - it would taste even better with some balsamic reduction. I'm obsessedwith drizzling that on everything though, so that's probably just me. We both got omelettes with home fries and white toast.One was the triple cheese omelet and OMG it was soooooooo cheesy! The other omelet was the mushroom one which had three or fourdifferent kinds of mushrooms. The home fries were crispy and had peppers sauteed in with them - loaded with flavor! With thetoast, we got homemade raspberry, grape and orange jellies. They were all so good but I think my favorite wasraspberry. Service was friendly and prompt. With it being a smaller place, they only had like 10 tables in the whole restaurantbut it never felt cramped or closed in. Overall just a really cozy and cool vibe. The chandeliers were over every table with agrand chandelier in the center of the room made from kitten utensils like spatulas and zesters. Super cool spot! Read more
Been trying to get over there for breakfast for awhile now . Finally made it this past Sunday . This place is the best breakfast... we?ve had since we?ve been down here (2yrs) .15 minute wait at 930am and it gets longer as time goes on . But hey if the placewas empty on a rainy Sunday morning would ya really wanna eat there ? Great family run spot with pop at the grill and mom andkids out front makings sure things go right . I had the tostada with homemade chicken sausage , excellent and more food than Icould eat . Wife had the shrimp and grits with homemade biscuits also very good and she brought 1/2 home as it was a good sizedportion . Cost wasn?t cheap ( but neither is McDonald?s )wasn?t so expensive either but if you want good healthy home cookedfood you either have to cook it at home or dig a little in your pocket . This is our new go to breakfast spot , glad we found it. Crave leaves you craving for good food and decent service! Horrible brunch experience. Food should not have ever left the... kitchen! Corn beef hash was burnt to an inedible degree. Hash brown looked like it had been forgotten on the stove and filet wasdry and dehydrated beyond the temperature requested. When we shared our concern with Val our waitress regarding the overcookedand burnt dishes, she proceeded with saying that?s how the food is supposed to be cooked. We arrived to the restaurant to find there was a 15-20 minute wait - no problem! However, we ended up waiting for nearly 40... minutes to be seated. We also observed people who arrived after us being seated before us. After placing our order, my pregnantfriend asked if she could have her toast from her meal a bit earlier. Without asking any follow-up questions, the waitress justsaid "No" quite curtly and walked away. We would have happily paid for an extra side of toast if prompted. We waited almost 30minutes for our food to arrive - which left much to be desired. In the time that we waited, our coffees were never refilled andthe waters we asked for, never arrived. The potatoes were so burnt and greasy (which the waitress later us was due to beingcooked with sugar... ?). The cheese with our eggs was not melted AT ALL. Also, the scrambled eggs were very runny, unappealingand flavorless. My other friend noticed a tiny fly in the jelly (when we told the waitress, she did not apologize or expressinterest in resolving the issue). The waitress never checked on us during the meal and when she came to clear our plates, shenoticed one of the plates had not been touched. She asked if we wanted a box to-go (we declined) and she asked how the food was.We expressed our unhappiness with the quality and she cleared the plates without apologizing. All in all, we will never be back.The food is extremely overpriced and underwhelming. After waiting almost an hour to have food on front of us, we weredisappointed to say the least. All we were left to CRAVE was good customer service and an edible meal. Read more
If I could?ve gave it no stars I would?ve! Food disgusting service was equal to McDonald?s. We ordered shrimp and grits and it... was son nasty we told the waiter he told the manager since we modified the order by saying no tomatoes she was not comp themeal. As we sat there waiting for the ticket another lady was looking for her card I had my card on the table right in front ofme the waitress ask me if that?s their card mind you she?s not my waitress haven?t paid. Come to find out that was the manager.I will never recommend this place to my dog. The food was burnt French toast was soggy. I?m just ready all these reviews andlooked at the pictures and my strawberry mimosa was in a very small cheap 4oz cup but these people have big wine glasses. Iposted this all over my social media this is not how you run a business. If you like Burt no seasoning food nasty service thisplace is perfect. I?ll stick to the farmers market. I tip good but since they made me pay for that dish that was James tip. Hewas confused about everything! Read more
