We love Cracker Barrel. This time though, the food was just about inedible. Nearly everything was overcooked - even the... cornbread. The biscuits were good as were the grits. I had the fried chicken, and my wife had the pot pie. As you can see fromthe photos, they cooked the chicken to leather. I ate two of two bigger prices and left the two smaller without even trying.Water helped me chew the food enough to eat it. All of the fried food was simply not good, Fried pickles & fried okra, two ofour favorites, were just chewy, dry morsels. My wife's pot pie was overcooked but not as badly as the chicken. Always a very good meal. Great ambience. The store at the entrance and the outside rocking chairs are the best.

Great service food was very good. Recommend the lunch deal for 7 bucks. The stuffed sweet potato pecans and chicken salad can't... be beat. If you hit noon might have a small wait But worth it And you will be stuffed when you leave. Read more

4:30pm on 12/16/21. I stopped in for a nice steak. Always order medium well. Server, who was very good by the way, brings out my... order. I cut into a bloody steak. Medium well is pink in the middle, done on the outside, no blood. I ask for it to be cookedsome more, no problem. Brings out a new steak. Half was done, half was dripping blood!! My bad review is because the cook can'tget his steaks cooked properly. I eat cracker barrel all the time and have never had this issue. I ate what was cooked properlyand left, no fuss, no complaints to management. I don't like to cause a problem and this is the first ever review Ive given, butI think it needs to be said that the cooks at this location are not properly trained. Read more

We had to wait an hour for a table. It's ok since it was Thanksgiving day. There was a limited menu on this day and then the... food should be perfect. The food and the presentation were nothing to write home about. It took 45 minutes before the foodarrived on the table. The food was cold and tasteless. They had also forgotten to put on several of the sides that belonged tothe dish. Informed the waitress about this and was no apology. I also expressed that I was dissatisfied with the food and thiswas also ignored. It should be bottomless soda, but it helps little when you can not get hold of the waitress.
