Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Finally made it over. I had the carpaccio, Caesar salad and a pork tenderloin... special. All of them were fantastic. But our server was GREAT. Down to earth and friendly. She really added to the experience.Will return 100%. Plus it?s 5 min from my house. Not to mention great prices when everyone else is over charging. I cannot begin to fully encapsulate how much this place glows with hospitality. The hostess who held the door for me, the bus... boy Reese who was practically bursting with charisma, and my server Wayne, who somehow always knew exactly what I needed beforeI even did; all of them acted as if they had watched me grow up and had known me for years. Wayne thoroughly explained the menuand how meticulously crafted each recipe was, and went over his personal favorites. I went with the soup of the day ($6) and aWayne-recommended spaghetti and meatballs ($16). Have I had better food somewhere else? Probably. Do I remember the name of anyof the staff, or that the bus boy wants to be an EMT, or that the owner's mom and the owner make the ravioli themselves everymorning? No. CIBO's strong suit is their exemplary service which left a memorable impression on me (although the food was stillpretty good). The staff members repeatedly stopped to make conversation with all of the guests, as if they were also patronssitting at the table waiting to eat. The family next to me had 4 different employees stop and chat, so I eventually asked ifthey came here often and they told me "every week!" I was at CIBO for a little over 30 minutes, but I left with a full belly, asmile and an feeling of coziness that I wanted to share with everyone I saw. My total came out to $23.43, plus a $10 tip (I onlywish I could have left Wayne and Reese a larger one). I'm writing this review in their parking lot because I immediately had tolet everyone know how phenomenal of a staff CIBO has employed. I was only in Ft. Myers on a business trip, but I'll make sure torecommend CIBO to my colleagues and stop by the next time I'm in town. Read more
This is a one of a kind place in the area. Some people would call it an elegant hole in the wall. A rather small restaurant was... a touch of a family. Very friendly and professional staff, Started with the hostess, Bar tenders, And waiting staff. The foodis fresh and cooked to order. Great choices of appetizers and main dishes. First visit with party of 6. Service was perfect. the specials were - Chilean sea bass, Homemade Ravioli, Pork and Mahi Mahi.... The Sea bass came with Asparagus and lemon risotto which was very nice. The fish was flaky and tender- Lovely! I was skepticalof ordering risotto but was quite pleased. The tomatoes on the caprese were local and delicious. The bread was warm and theyoffered oil, Blk olive tamponade and butter. (photo of empty tri dish) Everyone in our party loved their food. We werecelebrating a birthday, they brought a complimentary Tiramisu which was very very good! We loved the food and our server Carmen was exceptional. The entire staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
