We always like to go to Charley's at the Marriott each time we go to Florida in March. Mainly for the atmosphere, the views and... the beautiful sunsets in the bay. This time we were there with our two daughters for drinks and appetizers. However ourwaitress, Molly, was disappointing. Disappointing so say the least. The food is so bland. No real taste other than the seafood itself. There's no pepper, salt, or... anything. I can't think of a place I've ever been with such lack of taste. Their prices seem like it should be the best thing totouch your tongue but in fact it's horrible... Sunsets and cocktails mixed with beautiful views of San Carlos Bay. Charley?s Cabana Bar is located inside the Sanibel Marriott... Resort and Spa and open to the public. Seat yourself tables are available indoors and out. Service was prompt and theatmosphere relaxing. An enjoyable experience was had with a limited menu of appetizers and finger foods. Gluten-free optionsare available. Drinks are a little pricey but the view is worth it. Read more
Beautiful atmosphere and awesome place to watch the sun set! Only giving 3 stars due to being understaffed. If you arrive at... dinner time, be preparedto wait at least 20 minutes between each visit from your server. The food is tasty though and beautifulviews. Read more
Average Pub food. I would have given it 4 stars for the ambiance but it stayed at 3 because the server charged extra $11 for the... extra shot of rum on my mojito after I commented it tasted like no alcohol in it. It would have been nicer if they were informedme the extra charge for the shot that they might have forgot. Won?t eating here again for sure Read more
You guys have really stepped up your menu. Everything is awesome. Love the chicken pesto wrap and the sweet potato fries.
