What do you say about finding the hidden gem of restaurants ? How about Blanc. There you are. Wow. What an experience in... culinary taste from our host Bobby and server Anne-Marie we made to feel comfortable and welcomed. Then the food startedcoming and wow. We felt we were in another world. Not even kidding. Going out to eat became and the experience our senses werenot expecting. From our French onion soup to the surf and turf platter and the pork chop. Lol. So bland the names because theydon't do them justice. Words cannot express how flavourful the food is Finally the people that take care of you... they justmake everything perfect. Thank you Anne-Marie and Bobby and everyone else. Oh not to mention chef and co-owner will play thesaxaphone while you eat when he has the chance. Awesome ;) Just adding to the previous review. We went for a seconddinner the very next night and again. Perfect perfect perfect. Everyone again were absolutely great and the food wasoutstanding had a veal chop tonight along with a petite filet. Og and the risotto. God the risotto. I suggest to callahead and reserve your spot. Word is getting around that this is the place to eat. Thank you again Anne-Marie for your care inlooking after us. My husband and I are new to Ft. Myers and still discovering new dining opportunities. Well Blanc is quite the find and based on... our first experience, it was truly one of the best meals we have eaten in Ft. Myers! The ambiance was chic cozy, with aEuropean feel. The food was exceptional! I have a gluten sensitivity, so chef adapted the tuna appetizer and the escargot forme. The wine recommendation was excellent and nicely priced. My husband and I shared the dover sole special and it was SOGOOD, I can't even say enough. Our friend had the duck and it was sizable and looked amazing. Flan dessert was delicious andthe presentation of our espresso and cappuccino were fantastic! The staff and owners are beyond warm and accommodating. Ihighly recommend the chic, intimate and delicious experience at Blanc to anyone who wants good food and good people in awonderful setting! BTW, reservations are STRONGLY recommended! Read more
WOW great experience tonight a real unexpected delight. We were goi g to Barbara B To see a show. Thought we would try Blanc so... glad we did the staff was amazing, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and offered great wine and good suggestions. Will come back Read more
Honestly could not wait to review this place. Book in advance because it is small and hard to get in. Unfortunately, our bar... reservation wasn't available on time so we had to wait, but that cheese tray made up for it. The fig jam is divine. We orderedthe pork chop and the grouper. The salsa made the grouper mushy, but the gravy on pork was amazing!!! The potato gratin (notshown) was incredible!!! I definitely recommend you check it out. My husband and I had a really great time at BLANC! The food was delicious art, perfectly cooked and amazing flavors that was... beautifully presented. Our waiter, Brendon, was awesome, super personable and knowledgeable. All around amazing waiter! The onlyreason I would give it 4 instead or 5 stars would be how tiny the restaurant was. I felt a little smooshed so I would suggestthey try to find a bigger nicer space. A very fun night out! Read more
Amazing food in very quaint atmosphere! Has been on our list for a long time and finally got to experience it! Started with... grilled octopus and then veal chop and sea bass both served with yummy risotto! Topped off with a lovely choco port???? Read more
Well worth it and a must stop at. Make reservation as much in advance as you can. Everthing was spot on from the attention to... detail, professional service, and a Chef/Owner on the line. Chef, please post your specials on FB. The world needs to know atleast for the weeknds. There were 4 to 5 nightly specialties. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful evening. Read more
