My first time at Olive?s Mud Puddle coffee shop. The eclectic decor was fun and cozy. The pottery and paintings are very... creative and for sale, with classes available in the back. This is a coffee shop. They also offer some pottery classes in the rear and I wasn?t always sure if it was a coffee shop. The... coffee is fantastic and really good quality. I was a bit skeptical and figured it?d be average but I was pleasantly surprised.The space seemed a bit quirky the first time I walked in but I think it?s part of the artsy influence. They had a lot of potterydecor on display. I think that?s also what makes it unique - I?ve really started to like the vibe. They have a piano and offersome classic open mic nights -which you don?t often find in a coffee shop anymore. New to the area, we stopped by on a Friday night. Upon entering it?s clearly a local place that has a welcoming neighborhood-ie... feel. Greeted with coffee aromas they also have a small but fine selection of wine and beer. It was Open Mic night when wearrived so we sat quietly sipping our drinks as John Morgan opened - all a fun, entertaining and talented group of peoplefollowed.
