Mama's Pizza has great Italian food. Our family of 6 ordered various dishes and all of them were better than expected. The pasta... was perfect and the creamy sauces were delicious. Our server was very attentive to our needs and helpful in choosing the rightmeals for all of us. Give this a place a try. You will not be disappointed. Read more

This is the absolutely positively greatest pizza in the upstate!! Honest to God!! I'm a pizza aficionado and a upscale chef.... Believe me, when I say it; this is what other people's Italian restaurants strive towards. I wanted this place to be good, andit exceeded my expectations beyond anything. [I wanna give a shout out to friends Amanda and George) they were just the bestservers. Very friendly and gregarious people. The wines were great tasting, delicious food and wine, This is a sweatpants game,they will definitely feed you and your family. So I am here in a door dash order. I was not greeted and when I spoke the two white girls didn't speak. So I spoke loudly again!... One of them spoke. I stated I am here to pick up for door dash and was nicely told that it wasn't ready yet... I normally goback and order from restaurants that I dash at but I won't be coming back to this one! I've been to Mama's a total of 3 - 4 times. The first time I went I ordered their Alfredo & it was absolutely delicious as well... as the 2nd time. However, last night the Alfredo had zero flavor had to doctor it up with Parmesan and garlic powder which mademy stomach hurt. My mom got a big platter that looked really delicious as well but again had ZERO flavor. The sauce had a weirdsweet almost tin taste to it. I also asked for extra garlic knots & never got them server was too busy. Got a slice of pizza asan appetizer (she said the slices were big) & it was very small and tasted old. I only gave two stars because the server wasnice and she was trying. I probably won't be back unless changes are made. Also the inside is very dark & old looking. I was surprised how good this slice of pizza always considering some of the bad reviews. The sauce had some taste (tangy sweet... with some spices) really made this pizza. The crust had a bit of crisp but a tad airy and the cheese was good. With another fewminutes in the over this could have need 5 stars. I will definitely be back. Read more

Never again!!!! Ordered 3 large pies? 1 plain, 1 with pepperoni and olives and 1 with peppers, mushrooms and onions on one side... and pepperoni, sausage, bacon and peppers on the other and 6 garlic knots. Onions were barely cooked, peppers had zero taste,the sauce was bland and the crust was blah. The toppings looked like they had been thrown from across the room onto the pizza. Idon?t know how else to describe it. All the toppings in one big pile. What a mess!! And not just the food. My first impressionwhen going inside was ?yuck?. Place just looked dirty and in disarray. The garlic knots weren?t garlic knots at all. They weredinner rolls? burnt dinner rolls to be exact, most likely sprinkled with garlic powder but you?d never know bc they had zerotaste! I?ve known a few pizza makers over the years and they?ve all said that pizza making is in Art. This place gets a giant Fin that class! Been going to Mama?s for over a year and the last two times we have ordered take out the pizza is meh. The sauce is bland and... the pie is under cooked. I am not sure if this place has changed owners or skimping on the ingredients but they need to go backto their old recipes for their sauce and cook their pies a tad longer. The knots are NEVER warm always room temp but they giveyou hot marina sauce for them - odd? I?ll give them one more chance before I start using Lorenzo?s or Empire! At $22 for a pieand a dozen knots I expect better! Read more
