Clean, vibrant, modern atmosphere. The coffee options included lattes, cappuccinos, and others. Somewhat limited snack and food... choices, but the coffee flavors were excellent. Very good quality and service here, they obviously take pride in what they'redoing. Nice place to go and enjoy yourself. A welcome addition to the downtown area. Would go back again if in the area. You can't talk about food in Fort Madison too long without someone bringing up the chicken salad sandwich here at Swed. That's... for good reason. That chicken salad is unbelievably delicious. It's served in this wonderful soft croissant that is more tenderthan flaky. Their pasta salad that I also tried has a bounce to the texture that is sometimes hard to retain, but it was great.Lastly I also had a wonderful example of the London Fog. They add a little lavender honey to theirs and it lends a nicefloral-herbal note that plays very nicely with the bergamot. Next time I pass through town I will be looking to return and havea nice drink in such a charming, modern coffee shop. Read more
