I want to give them 5 stars but they can?t seem to figure out how to properly package the fries so when you get them they aren?t... soggy and inedible. I understand you can only do so much for delivery but enclosing them in a box does not help. They recentlystarted using these ridiculous paper boxes for the fries that make it ten times worse. The burgers and chicken sandwiches arereally good and the fries have so much potential but I?ve found they are only good if you eat them there otherwise expect reallysoggy fries. Read more
First of all - BEST burger in NJ? Absolutely not. However, I'd be remiss if I didn't call it honestly. It actually was a... pretty darn good burger. Fresh, not dry, made-to-order...well kinda - I asked for a HAMburger, sans cheese [I absolutely DETESTAmerican cheese ???? ] but got some atop my patty anyway. I didn't care for the pickles either, as I like those "traditional"garlic-y hamburger dills, but got a sweeter version. It wasn't terrible, just not my cup of tea. And, speaking of, where wasthe PEACH in the white peach iced tea I've heard so much about? It was a bit heavy-handed on the honey, but it wasn't anythingspecial to write home, although it was refreshing given this hot summer day. Would I go back? Perhaps, if I happen to be in thearea. Otherwise, probably not, given that I'm 20 minutes away and can get a better burger closer to home. I did get a parkingspot right out front, but I see how that can be a potential problem. I got double cheeseburger, swiss shroom dijon burger, truffle parmesan fires and old bay firies Honestly the double... cheeseburger 1000/10 it is the most great and best burger I've ever tried in NY !! The go-to spot for fried chicken sandwiches and hotdogs in the area. I ordered takeout several times and their food is... consistent. Chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, so good! The hotdog is always good (best in town) and the burgeris light with good flavors. I get fries here because it goes with the meal but they are not that great, it's on the soggy side.I prefer McDonald's fries. Read more
-Cheese burger: very nice, as light as the one from Shake Shack, which is a good thing for me. Fresh ingredient and very... pleasant taste. -Chicken sandwich: Compared to the one from Shake Shack, thicker juicy chicken and more spicy flavor tastebatter. Personally liked this better than Shake Shack. -Fries: mediocre and somehow mine came with all too short pieces mostly,so didn?t enjoy much. Main minus one star reason. Aside from that, don?t choose vinegar fries if you are like me who enjoyputting fries and burger into your mouth at the same time and munch. Just not right combo. Martys has THEEE best burgers! The variety of burgers they offer is wonderful. Their truffle fries are unbeatable, and believe... me I?ve tried them at several different establishments. Marty?s fries are incredible. The white peach ice tea is so tasty andrefreshing and goes so well with the burger and fries. They also have homemade banana pudding that can rival ?Magnolia Bakery?s?offering. Their staff is always so friendly and accommodating. This is a really good place to have and enjoy a burger, well prepared, delicious and tasty. We ordered for delivery and the... service was good and fast.
