Mel is an amazing server! He made my daughter and I feel very welcome. We had never dined at the grill before and he was kind... enough to suggest the pizza. We opted for the avocado toast to start. 10 out of 10, highly recommended! We also got the shrimpgarlic pasta and Chimichurri chicken with a side garden salad. Went there after church today.. had a bad experience. I ordered hot coffee and husband ordered iced coffee. The menu offers... 'coffee' at $2.50. Server failed to tell us that they don't have iced coffee, but they have the specialty cold brew coffee($5). She brought Cold brew for him without telling us the difference, and by the time the food came both of our coffees wereempty. I asked if we can have more coffee. She brought me hot coffee and just ignored my husband's empty glass. When she cameback around later we asked if he can get another coffee. She said the cold brews don't have refills. I said we ordered icedcoffee. I'm not sure she understood the difference (Iced coffees are normally the same price as hot coffee and have refills) but anyway we declined the refill at $5 a pop, and she just left my husband with nothing to drink the rest of the meal. Even ifhe had ordered the cold brew, the menu doesn't state no refills. I think this is a failure on the servers part for notexplaining from the beginning when he ordered iced coffee. And also leaving someone with an empty glass their whole meal and notacknowledging it since there wasn't free refills on that drink. As a former server myself, this was a very a frustrating anddisappointing experience. Server not doing their job, and also the restaurant not being clear in their menu. Really enjoyed the chicken curry soup, and the apple bread pudding was excellent, the havana-rito lunch pork with rice beans... and terrific pico de gallo was huge portion and really tasty. Would definitely go back. Prices very reasonable. Read more

This place is like one of the hidden gems in Fort Lauderdale. Since it is located in the premises of the church, we call it "The... Church". The food here is awesome. I have been there twice and loved it. Staff is nice and ambience is great. The prices arealso very reasonable. The only thing is that most days they are open till 3 p.m. only. Read more
