Mix feelings vase on my experience. The restaurant?s location is amazing. The ocean view is breathtaking the ambiance is... captivating very clean & high maintenance 10 stars there. Great if your looking to impress a crow. Drinks were great but food itall depends the cooked versions are amazing definitely recommend from what I saw being served at other tables but the sushiversion not so much for the price being paid you barely get anything on plate. I was disappointed. I will have to come back fora second try If your looking to entertain a crowd and not eat this place is it but if your looking to dine ask for assistance onwhat?s a full plate I left hungry. ?Fantastic? is too small a word to describe my experience. The best dining experience I have had in Ft. Lauderdale. Tasty food,... amazing scenery, titillating cocktails and incredible service. Today my wife and I had the best dining experience we've ever had. It was all because of our waitress Bridget. We started with... the raw oysters which were amazing and then we asked Bridget to just bring us some of her personal recommendations. She firstasked questions regarding our likes/dislikes, allergies and then she brought her personal favorite appetizers, sashimi's, sushi,and drinks. We basically told her to just surprise us and she was absolutely spot on with every single dish, it was an amazingexperience. The pairing was absolutely perfect. I understand that it did put some pressure on Bridget because she's literallybringing us all surprise dishes based on how we described our likes, but she absolutely made our day. The desert was also myfavorite, it was shaved ice, something I would not have ordered based on the name, but it was the lightest, best desert ever.Bridget if your reading this, I want to thank you again because you gave us the best dining experience we've ever had, the bestwaitress ever, we're going back because of you (and the food of course, it was amazing, compliments to the chefs!). Also, ifanyone else is reading this, I would suggest you do the same - hopefully you get Bridget as the waitress, let her know what youlike/dislike and let her do the rest. Beautiful ambiance and decor, but more importantly, the brunch was delicious! We ordered the Crunchy French toast and Avocado... toast with eggs. They skimp you on the avocado but the sauce on top of the eggs was such an amazing flavor, it really elevatedthe whole dish. And the french toast had an amazing crunchy texture, best I've ever had. We even got a fruit bowl to go and ithad over 8 types of fruit, very unique!! The coffee was not the best I have to say tho, not bad but not great either. We were worried as the waiter was a little bit cold but the suggestions he made and the quality of food made up for it. Also,... the view was stunning of Fort Lauderdale beach. If you like sushi and unobstructed beach views this is the place to visit. Mywife also order cocktails and they were fantastic. All in all well worth the visit. Pro tip, park at the Conrad hotel?s valetparking and the Restuarant with validate your ticket and you only pay $10. We spent the day at the beach, ate great food andparking was only $10. Read more
We visited this spot before it was reintroduced as this new name. As with its predecessor, the location and view directly across... from the beach is a favorite thing. Our meal and service were lovely and we were especially thrilled and surprised with a birthday dessert. The surprise dessert was a surprisingly delicious purple colored sweet potato mouse; we couldn't stop talkingabout it on the way home. Read more
Excellent all around. The menu is a sharing style menu. We ordered a nice selection of different items some recommended by our... excellent server and others we just found to be interesting. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and nicely presentedand of course delicious. Our server was top notch. The ocean view was a great addition to the excellent meal. This was a unique experience. I was able to have a lunch here and try some of the food offered by Takato. It is definitely of a... higher class. The drinks were great and the service was excellent. The outside seating was very nice and the beach offeredinspiring views. Very nice place for lunch. Read more
