We always love to have seafood while on vacation and glad this restaurant came up as an option in Fort Lauderdale. It was a... rainy day and we did not sit outside facing the marina, but it seems like a good spot to do so. It is close to the I-95overpass, so you have to make sure you pay attention for the street to turn. Also, you have to go all the way to the back to themarina and it shares the location with the restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess and sat right away. We decided to stayinside and it worked out well. It is a bit small inside with a bar in the middle. It is cozy, nicely decorated andwelcoming. Chris our server was friendly, funny, answered our questions and made good suggestions. We ordered the New EngladClam Chowder, the Octopus Appetizer (special), the Conch Platter (amazed to have pieces of conch and not a big fried ball ofdough!) and the Whole Stuffed Florida Lobster (special). Everything was fresh, made to order, tasty, flavorful, good portionsand delicious! The lobster was sweet and cooked well, the garlic bread yummy, the black beans and rice tasty and the rosemarypotatoes great. Everything we had was Delicious! Seafood Spinach Dip was way better than I thought. Tuna was fresh and yummy. Steak ka bob... things was nice and flavorful! Drinks were good too. It's a little pricier than most places I think, but the quality of food, isalso better than most places. I'm sure about the quality of the food. Had an incredible seafood meal here. Totally know what we expected. Got to eat outside and watch the iguana on the deck while it... rained. Interesting weather made my meal even more unique. The service was great We had a very nice server who was very upbeatand positive. The meal was incredible The coconut shrimp appetizer was one of the best things I've ever had seafood. We hadgrouper and yellow tail both were fantastic. I was surprised that I found this little spot for us at the last minute and we werenot disappointed. Seemed like a fairly typical Florida seafood joint on the water - decent food, but high prices relative to the menu?s offerings,... presentation and atmosphere. Our server, Amanda, did an exceptional job with our large party. She was kind, gracious andaccommodating. Our drinks were just ?okay? - I had a hastily prepared cocktail that was lacking in overall quality. By far thebiggest disruption was the ?bus cart? located directly next to our table filled with dirty dishes that was constantly beingdumped into (quite loudly, in fact) but not being cleared away. The meal was ?just alright? - not bad, not great, and nothingspecial. The bathrooms being located outside lent to the feeling of a seafood shack; however, the restaurant was trying to beupscale, when it certainly was anything but.
